WELCOME TO WIN COMMUNITY As Dean of the Wentworth Institute of Higher Education (WIN) and with many years’ experience in the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in Australia and abroad, I am committed to ensuring that all our students receive a quality education in a safe and friendly environment. Our lecturers are not only academically well qualified but also demonstrate relevant industry experience and are therefore able to produce graduates who are well prepared to enter their chosen careers. We offer four undergraduate certificate programs, four undergraduate degree programs and two postgraduate programs. Our Undergraduate Certificates offer students the opportunity to get qualified in as little as six months and are offered in the areas of Business Administration, Bookkeeping, Human Resource Management and Video & Motion Graphics.Our Bachelor of Interactive Media (BIM), with a specialisation in Animation, provides the foundation for not only a successful career within the creative industries but most importantly establishes a foundation of learning upon which graduates will be facilitated to grow and develop throughout their professional lives. Our Bachelor of Business (BBus), with its industry relevant broad suite of subject offerings, provides the ideal basis for a career in management and all types of business. For those seeking a professional qualification in accounting, our Bachelor of Business (Professional Accounting) (BBusPA) has been accredited by the relevant industry professional bodies, CPA Australia and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Most recently accredited, our Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) prepares students for a career in software development, an important and growing field. A distinguishing feature of the courses offered at the Wentworth Institute of Higher Education (WIN) is the possibility for all students, no matter what discipline they study, to acquire valuable knowledge in a number of fast growing and job rich industries, through their choices of electives. Students in any Bache- lor programs can acquire other discipline specific skills by being able to choose the electives they study. This rich learning combination, very relevant to the contemporary job market, is offered to students at the WIN Higher Ed premises ideally located at Central Station in beautiful Sydney within the vibrant hub of Surry Hills. We also offer Master of Business and Master of Professional Accounting degree programs with nested postgraduate Diplomas and Certificates. Our Masters Degrees consist of sixteen subjects and would normally be undertaken over four semesters of full-time study. The nested Graduate Diplomas consist of the first eight subjects within the Masters, while the Graduate Certificates consist of the first four subjects within the Graduate Diplomas. These postgraduate courses are approved by TEQSA and our Master of Professional Accounting has been accredited by the professional accounting bodies in Australia. Our degrees can be undertaken on a part-time or full-time basis and we are very focused on assisting students. Our postgraduate courses are theoretically sound and industry-relevant with an emphasis on ensuring graduates demonstrate the learning outcomes needed to pursue successful careers. WIN CAMPUS Wentworth Institute of Higher Education (WIN) is located at 302 Elizabeth Street Surry Hills on the corner of Foveaux Street and right opposite Sydney’s Central Railway Station. The Eastern Suburbs light rail as well as many buses are also in close proximity.
