For the last several years, the US Open has provided players with a
complimentary match DVD for all televised singles matches played in Arthur
Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, Grandstand and Courts 11, 13 and 17.
We are pleased to announce this service is being expanded in 2013 to include all
televised doubles matches played on these courts, and as an added bonus, we
will now also supply this match footage to players on complimentary flash drives.
As you are aware, the US Open has added an additional day to its schedule for
2013, which will impact all five main draw events. The mixed doubles final is now
scheduled for Friday, September 6th; the women’s doubles final for Saturday,
7th; the men’s doubles and women’s singles final for Sunday, 8th; and the men’s
singles final on Monday, 9th. The US Open Junior Championships and the US
Open Wheelchair Competition are not impacted by the schedule change—both
will end on Sunday, September 8th. This year also marks the return of the US
Open Wheelchair Tennis Competition and an enhanced Champions’ Invitational.
All of us at the USTA want your time in New York to be the highlight of your year,
and we are committed to making that happen. Wherever you go at this facility,
we want you to be wowed. Should you have any questions or concerns during
your time here with us, the personnel at the Player Services Desk will do their
best to assist you.
Again, welcome to the 2013 US Open. Play well—and enjoy your US Open
experience.
