Day 79 – 27. June 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

here:The Forks Market. Winnipeg, Manitoba, Kanada ·
In Winnipeg we stayed in this parking lot between railway tracks and 6-lane main street, was quite loud, but
very centrally located. So it was only 500m to Forks Market.

Day 80 – 28. June 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

here: Birds Hill Provincial Park. Winnipeg ·
We arrived at Birds Hill Provincial Park shortly after 8pm. At the reception we were greeted warmly and there was
also a campsite free. Only 10 minutes later, there was a real "run" on the vacant campsites. That was a close thing.

in Winnipeg Beach.
Winnipeg Beach is located on Lake Winnipeg, the third largest lake in Canada, and is a proper lido with everything
that it needs - the beach, waterfront, restaurants and shops.

Day 82 – 30. June 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

here:Winnipeg Beach Hotel. Winnipeg ·
The owner of this Winnipeg Beach Hotel seems to be very enterprising. In this building she operates beside the hotel
also a casino, a bar, a beer garden and if one knows well, one finds at the back entrance also the sales for alcoholic
beverages.

On our way from Winnipeg Beach to Gull Harbor, we passed this original weekly market / theme park. Too bad that Arnes Farmers
Market is open only on weekends. We would have liked to shop here.

I did not know that Minions marry. I just caught the bride and groom
even before she drove off with his decorated wedding car.
The wedding guests stayed there.

Day 85 – 3. July 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

here:Watchorn Provincial Park. Moosehorn, Manitoba ·
In Watchorn Provincial Park we found a parking space right on the beach. Here we made our first own campfire. The meat and the
sausages taste grilled, of course, so good.

 Cavaliere Mario Sieht fantastisch aus!!

 14
Day 86 – 4. July 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

in Easterville, Manitoba.
In the evening I went to the harbor of Easterville again. The fishermen had just come back and proudly showed me their catch. A box with
Pickerels brings about 300 CAD. Then I had to make a crash course in the fish disembowel. My reward: 2 fish fillets.

 15
Day 87 – 5. July 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

here: Manitoba.
We wondered about the blue boxes in the fields. Upon closer inspection, we found that these are virtually insect hotels for
leafcutter bees. These are urgently needed to pollinate the alfalfa (animal feed). Since the alfalfa were very susceptible to pests, the
company Monsanto already has the plants in 2005 genetically modified.

 16
Day 88 – 6. July 2019

At the campsite behind the museum in Flin Flon
we could finally have breakfast outside again.

Even the roads in Narrow Hills Provincial Park (HWY 120) need regular maintenance.

 22
Day 91 – 9. July 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

here: Northern Lights Casino. Prince Albert, Saskatchewan Kanada ·
We drove through Prince Albert and happened to see some campers standing in the parking lot of the casino.
We were already in Sault Ste. Marie without problems at the casino and have therefore simply put on this parking lot. But the thing was a
little catchy: In order to stand here in Prince Albert at the casino, you have to register as a player. It was a bit of a hassle, but no problem
thanks to the very friendly and helpful staff at the casino.

 23
Day 92 – 10. July 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

here: Chitek Lake Campgrounds. Chitek ·Saskatchewan
In Canada, ATVs (All-Terrain Vehicles) have their own road network with special traffic signs and signage. It was not our best idea to
use one of these trails as a hiking trail. There was a lot of traffic here and it was still muddy.

 24
Day 93 – 11. July 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

here: Kimball Lake, Meadow Lake Provincial Park. Dorintosh ·Saskatchewan
At the campsite at Meadow Lake Provincial Park, we got stuck in the very soft ground. The starting aids were not particularly
helpful. That was not a problem. A camping neighbor came with his pickup and pulled us out again.

here: Kimball Lake, Meadow Lake Provincial Park. Dorintosh Alberta
Canada with its 10 provinces offers an incredible amount of parks. There are 42 national parks and over a thousand provincial and
territorial parks. They are beautiful and have a high recreational value. But that also requires immense investment, as shown here at
Meadow Lake Provincial Park.

Day 95 – 13. July 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

here: Old Strathcona Farmers' Market. Edmonton, Provinz Alberta Kanada ·
Edmonton is a very vibrant city with an impressive skyline. We just wanted to visit the Farmers Market in the beautiful district of Old
Strathcona. In front of the market, the "Street Performer Festival" took place here at the same time.
which made even more visitors find their way here.

 28
Day 96 – 14. July 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

here: West Edmonton Mall. Edmonton, Alberta Kanada ·
The West Edmonton Mall is one of the largest covered shopping and entertainment centers in the world. More than 31 million
visitors come to the mall each year, with over 800 shops, 100 restaurants, 6 department stores and 13 cinemas. Those who find
shopping too boring can also enjoy the world's largest indoor rollercoaster or World Waterpark. In the ice pavillion, the Canadian
Armwrestling Championships have just been held.

 29
Day 97 – 15. July 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

here: Elk Island National Park Edmonton, Provinz Alberta Kanada ·
In Elk Island National Park we hiked the Hayburger Trail 1, hoping to see bison. We needed about 3 hours for the 12 km route and
discovered lots of fresh bison traces, but did not see a single bison. Disappointed, we climbed back into our camper and drove on.
After a few meters we came across a bison directly on the road. Whether he has been waiting for us because he wanted to see
people?

 30
Day 98 – 16. July 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

in Swan Hills, Alberta. Kanada
Misfortunes never come singly. In Swan Hills we found a nice parking lot at the sports park. However, when we got out, we found
that a tire was flat. A small stone had drilled through the tire. So it was time to change tires. It was the premiere for us.A short time
later, a thunderstorm cell exploded just above us.

discharged with rain and hail. Within minutes, the square was inches high under water.

Thanks to Google Maps, we also found a professional tire service in Swan Hills. Wyatt vulcanized the tire cover in the blink of an eye.
However, he had no torque data for the Fiat Ducato to properly tighten the wheel bolts can. Luckily, Peter had the data stored on his
iPad. Last but not least, Wyatt gave us some tips on what we should definitely look at in Liard River.

Although Manning is only a small town with about 1,400 inhabitants. The organization of the event and the equipment was already
very professional. We had a lot of fun with our new friends. Unfortunately, we did not have much luck with the 50-50 lottery and
the private small result bets. But that did not detract from the good mood.

On this busy event weekend there was also a parade in Manning. The local companies and clubs had prepared original cars for the
move and distributed to the delight of many spectators also Kamellen. You can clearly see here the strong dependency of the
region on oil and gas production.

Day 104 – 22. July 2019
OUR POST ON FACEBOOK

in High Level, Alberta. Kanada
We drive through high level. The largest forest fires of this year are raging in this region. There are currently 22 active forest fires,
of which 2 are out of control, 10 can be held and 10 are under control. The dimensions are unimaginable. So for example, the
forest fire at Chuckegg Creek is 3,500 square kilometers with a circumference of 675 kilometers. Traffic news say that the
Mackenzie Highway is passable. Only strong smoke affect the traffic.
