              born into violence and ripped
apart by the bitter divisions of
              their parents. Shakespeare’s most
famous story of love at first sight
              explodes with intense passion in
              this contemporary production
              with heartbreaking consequences.

              Barrie Kosky’s blazingly original
              and visually spectacular staging of
              Handel’s oratorio pairs baroque

              to create an enthralling theatrical
              fusion of old and new.
