DAY 1: Pilanesberg – Arrive at Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge

Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport and transfer to Pilanesberg National
Park

Just two hours from Johannesburg, lies Pilanesberg National Park, an unspoilt
game reserve set within the crater of an ancient volcano, which was formed over
1.2 billion years ago. The landscape and rock formations bid home to the famous
Big Five - majestic lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and black and white
rhinos. As well as other game such as giraffes zebras, hippos, and crocodiles who
inhabit in the area. There is also an abundance of bird species to explore as your
roam through the bushveld.

Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge is situated on the slopes of an ancient volcano, where
Mother Nature and guests meet in perfect harmony. Arrive to stylishly decorated
rooms, two swimming pools, and an exclusive onsite spa, offering a wide range of
treatments, within the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park.

Relax on the restaurant’s terrace, overlooking the waterhole where the animals
come to drink and watch as the sun sets behind the mountain.

Check-in at the lodge at 14h00 - Time to freshen up and relax.
At 15h30, afternoon tea will be served on the deck. Your designated Ranger will
then brief you for your first game drive. This is where you may potentially spot
the famous Big Five, as well as other game, birdlife, and wild dogs. The highly
trained and experienced Rangers lead you to discover wonders of nature that you
may never have dreamed existed.

Upon returning from your afternoon game drive, relax and enjoy a
wonderful dinner, set up under African skies.

DAY 2: Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge
A morning call from your Ranger will wake you before first light. The bush is
already alive as you arrive; the air may be filled with birds’ songs as sunlight
dances off beads of dew on spiders' webs. No one can predict what you will
see, not even the tracker, who can read the bushveld like a book. He will
watch the gravel road for spoor (tracks), leaning forward intently to find any
prints left by a predator during its hunt in the dark. There may be hushed
discussions in Shangaan between Ranger and Tracker, and brief radio
interactions from one vehicle to another. Sharing information ensures that
the occupants of each Land Rover have the best chance of a wide range of
sightings during drives. It also ensures control and responsible behaviour as
the vehicles move in closely towards the animals.

You then return to the lodge for a full breakfast. The ranger will join to
answer any of your questions.

The rest of the morning is at leisure with many activities on offer, from
guided bush walks to luxurious spa treatments.

You will meet for afternoon tea before going on another exciting game drive.

Upon your return, dinner will be served at the lodge. Traditional South
African dishes, prepared with fresh, local ingredients will be on offer at the
buffet.

DAY 3: Sun City – Sun City Main Hotel

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge before checkout.

Optional: Participate in another exciting morning game drive. (Not included in
the package price – to be booked and paid directly with the lodge.)

A short transfer will take you from the tranquil bush, to the exhilarating world
of Sun City.
Whether you are looking for romance, family fun or sheer decadence, you will
find it in South Africa’s foremost resort paradise. Explore the many onsite
attractions such as thrilling water sports, a buzzing Entertainment Centre,
casinos, and restaurants, including the Valley of Waves - one of the many
reasons why Sun City remains a premier holiday resort. Enjoy a round of golf,
or parasail along Sun City Lake, where you’ll be able to enjoy a bird’s eye view
