Almighty God, we pray for our Church, we pray for our priests The Revd Glen, The Revd Paul, The
George and The Revd Johannes. We pray for our Church Wardens, Parish Counsellors, our Chapel
Wardens, and for all other ministry leaders. We pray that we, as the body of Christ, may reach out

opportunities to invite them into our fellowship so that they may taste and see that the Lord is
good.
We pray for guidance in all our endeavours agreed upon, as well as blessings placed upon the
hands that unselfishly come alongside to assist. We give thanks with our whole heart, because out

situations, in which we have learned how wonderful you are and how much we need you.

And so dear Lord, as the pandemic become stronger, and more are infected, may we remain
confident that your church will survive and thrive. Keep watch, we ask, with those who work or
weep, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend the sick, give rest to the weary,

Dear God, thank You for this day! Thank You for the birds and the animals, the flowers and the
trees, the lakes and the streams, the sun that rises and sets over them each day. Thank you for
creating everything we see. Lord God, we thank you for who you are and for all that you have
done for us. Thank you for loving us and keeping your hand of protection over us.
We give you thanks for the ministry and leadership of The Revd Victor and The Revd Suzette, as
well as the Wardens Allison, Jonathan and Jade. Thank you for our parish secretary, who works
diligently and for his love and compassion with which he receives people at the office.

We pray for an end to the violence and crime in our area and for those currently trying to
overcome the trauma of a recent event. Lord, the load shedding has become incredibly
challenging for businesses and families. Please give guidance and wisdom to those in authority.

We pray for our candidates who are busy preparing for Confirmation as well as for their parents
who need to support them. Heavenly Father, you are gracious indeed. Thank you for the generous
pledging and faithful giving in our Parish. We bring before you the sick and fragile and especially
those in isolation and hospital, that by your healing hand they may recover. We pray for the
families of those who have lost a loved one and we remember all those who died of the Corona
virus. Heavenly Father, enfold us in your love and please help us to be obedient and adhere to the
COVID-19 protocols.
