Tour By Day DAY 1 Welcome to the Lavender Capital Our beautiful bike adventure begins with a transfer to Villes-sur-Auzon, a charming village in the region of Mont Ventoux and an ideal starting point for the Gorges de la Nesque. Fuel up with a seasonal Provençal lunch at a farm set in the middle of vineyards, followed by our bike fitting and safety talk. Our first ride will take us into the exceptional landscape of Gorges de la Nesque, a picturesque route that approaches Sault. In the lavender capital of Provence, we’re met with tidy rows of purple stretching as far as the eye can see and the unmistakable fragrance of lavender in bloom. Ride right to the hotel and take some time to settle in, or explore Sault before tonight's Provençal feast. We'll dine alongside locals in the peaceful town of Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, then it’s off to Roussillon to admire the boldly colored cliffs of the otherworldly ochre canyons. At a domaine near Ménerbes, we'll discover Côtes du Luberon wines and sit down to a picnic prepared by our guides.
