Purpose
• Remind officers how Promotion Eligibility can
  be determined
• Review important updates and notable changes
  regarding promotion documents and process
  for PY22
• Provide a high level overview of a few key
  HSPAC Career Progression, Promotion and
  Guidance (CP2G) Documents
• Conduct an in-depth review of the new
  universal CV Format Instructions and crosswalk
  with standardized Benchmarks

PY22 Important Updates
• 2022 Promotion Benchmarks for All Categories were
  released. The HS Category no longer has its own
  Benchmarks.
• A Standardized Promotion CV Format was released
  for All Categories as optional. But please note:
    • For HS Category PY22:
        • Standardized Promotion CV Format and the
          Continuing Education Summary Sheet are required.
        • The CV Cover Page is NOT required.
• Officer Promotion Package Verification System
  (OPPVS) was released on September 1 for PY2022.
  OPPVS will only be available for officers with
  promotion eligibility in PY22.

PY22 CV Notable Changes
• The CV format is organized by benchmark precepts.
  The CV Format Instructions outline required
  formatting and order of sections. Follow these
  instructions!

• Continuing Education (CE) training completed is no
  longer included as a table within the CV. A separate
  CE Summary Sheet is now required. However, the CV
  includes a table to capture any CE training that you
  Planned, Developed or Led.

• Impact of documented work & accomplishments must
  be emphasized throughout the various CV sections.
