Radicchio 2021
Radicchio is a traditional Italian chicory that is gaining popularity across the United States. Radicchio is day-length
and temperature sensitive. We suggest trialing varieties in your region to find the best slot. If your radicchio plant-
ings tend to bolt then start the seedlings later. If they tend to not head up, start the seedlings earlier.
DTM= days from transplant to maturity.
*This slotting is based on a maritime climate characteristic of the Pacific Northwest and Northern Italy.

(OP) Open Pollinated variety: Reproduce naturally via cross-pollination or self-pollination.
Open pollinated varieties may lack the uniformity and disease resistance of hybrids. Extremely Heat Tolerant
Organic: Seeds are grown and produced in organic systems without the use of syn-
thetic elements. Extremely Cold Tolerant
