RBOOSH Vacation Care Program SUMMER 2020
ABOUT RBOOSH VACATION CARE
RBOOSH Vacation Care is a community-based, parent-managed, non-profit organisation
operated by Rose Bay Before & After School Care. We provide a caring, fun and safe environ-
ment for all children. Our programs aim to provide our children with a variety of creative,
enjoyable and stimulating activities. Our holiday programs are offered to children enrolled in
primary school
ENROLMENT PROCEDURE
Enrolments and booking forms must be received no later than the specified closing date.
There are limited places available so get your bookings in early. Payments for Vacation Care
as well as Before and After School Care must be received by Monday 2nd December 2019
Bookings after the closing date will only be accepted if places are available.
Bookings Open: MONDAY 18th NOVEMBER 2019
Bookings Close: FRIDAY 22nd NOVEMBER 2019

EXCURSIONS
On excursion days, children need to be at the centre by 9am. We will not wait for late children.
LATE FEE
A flat fee of $15 will be charged for the first ten minutes after 6:00pm. $1.00 per minute will be
charged thereafter.
SUN SAFE
Please send your child/ren with a hat, sunscreen + bottle of water, as we spend a lot of time outdoors.

K-3: LASER WARRIORS
4-6: KINGPIN BOWLING
K-2 Will be battling it out on the grounds of RBOOSH for some laser tag action
whilst the 3-6’s are heading to Darling Harbour where they will test their aim
playing 10-pin bowling, laser tag and arcade games!

THURSDAY 9TH JANUARY
MOVIES @ EQ pt.1
It’s that time during Vacation Care when we hit up Hoyts Cinemas at EQ
to watch one of the latest kids Hollywood Blockbusters. As always, we
will also be getting our very own yummy popcorn to munch on :)

FRIDAY 10TH JANUARY
K-3: MONKEY BAA THEATRE
4-6: FILM MAKING WORKSHOP (INC)
K-3s, get ready for some sore cheeks! You’re heading to Darling Harbour
to watch the funniest comedy show which will have you falling off your
seats in laughter. LOL!!
4-6s, you’re doing a filmmaking workshop where you’ll learn how to How
to film for green screen and live action as well as how to edit your shots
together to tell a story.

MONDAY 13TH JANUARY TUESDAY 14TH JANUARY
PARSLEY BAY pt.1 K-3: INFLATABLE WORLD
It’s a beautiful summer’s day (we 4-6: ARCHERY + BONDI

and heading for a picnic, swim and K-2’s will be entertained at Inflatable

K-3: BLAXLAND RIVERSIDE
4-6: SURFING @ BONDI BEACH
K-3s are off to a trip to Blaxland Riverside Park. There will be heaps of great
equipment to use including a flying fox, a massive treehouse, and a fun water
fountain to play in!
4-6s, surf’s up! We’re back at Bondi Beach with the guys from Let’s Go
Surfing teaching the kids how to carve up waves!

WHEELS + WET N WILD
It’s Summer so bring your cozzies and join us for a fun-filled wet & wild
day! We will be playing heaps of water games, throwing water bombs,
squirting each other with water pistols and we will also have our very
own inflatable water slides. If you love water, don’t miss out!

FRIDAY 17TH JANUARY
K-3: OOSH IN THE BUSH
4-6: KAYAKING
The k-3 kids are heading to Centennial Park to learn about nature,
building rafts and shelters from natural materials and enjoying water
games as well.
Meanwhile, 4-6 will be enjoying a fun day in the sun kayaking along
Rose Bay and cooling off with a dip at Hermit Beach.

MONDAY 2oth JANUARY TUESDAY 21st JANUARY
PARSLEY BAY pt.2 WHEELS + FIRST AID
What is better than going to Parsley On top of the usual riding around,
bay once? Going twice !!!! the crew from First Aid For You will

4-6: SKATING MACQUARIE ICE RINK
Do you think you can match the skills of Torvill and Dean on the ice? Prove it
by coming with us as we head to Ice Z00 Alexandria (K-3) &
Macquarie Centre Ice Rink (4-6) for a frosty-good time on the ice!

THURSDAY 23rd JANUARY
K-3: LITTLE DYNAMOS
4-6: LUNA PARK
K-3’s will be expending all their energy enjoying the play equipment at Lit-
tle Dynamos, whilst 4-6’s head to Luna Park for a fun filled day enjoying all
the rides and slides on offer. There will be some tired bodies at the end of
day.

FRIDAY 24th JANUARY
WHEELS + BBQ
We will be celebrating our beautiful country with a Wheels Day and a
great Australian sausage sizzle , whilst throwing in some Australia Day art
and craft activities

TUESDAY 28th JANUARY
MOVIES @ EQ pt. 2
It’s off to the cinema we go again! We’re signing off on another great
holiday program with a relaxing movie session at Hoyts EQ. As always,
there will be a large selection of movies to choose from and plenty of
popcorn to munch on!
