                                                                                                Iris Schürmann-Mock was born in
                                                                                                Duisburg. Eleven years ago, she moved
                                                                                                to Bornheim in the Rhineland area. After
                                                                                                completing her studies, she worked as a
                                                                                                journalist and press spokesperson, for
                                                                                                example for the Federal Ministry for
                                                                                                Family Affairs. In 1982, with Gabriela
                                                                                                Wenke, she founded the magazine
                                                                                               „Eselsohr“ for children’s and youth media.
                                                                                                Iris Schürmann-Mock has worked as a
                                                                                                freelance author for 25 years, writing
                                                                                                narrative non-fiction, children’s books,

                                                                        Eva Dax studied literature in Essen, while

                                                                        journalist for various print, TV and radio

                                                                        worked as a consultant and editor for
                                                                        radio and television. In Cologne, where
                                                                        she lives with her husband and two sons,
                                                                        she met Sabine Dully. With their amusing
                                                                        stories and one-of-a-kind characters, the
