As a Church of England School, it falls within the Diocese of St Albans. It is part of the maintained system of education and is operated in partnership with the Local Au- thority. The school has close links with our village Church, All Saints, and the wider village community. The School is a single form entry Primary School situated in the North Bedfordshire village of Riseley on the borders of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamp- tonshire. The catchment area for the school is comprised of Riseley and its sur- rounding villages. A number of pupils from a local Northamptonshire town also at- tend the school. At age 11 pupils normally transfer to Sharnbrook Secondary School. We currently have 194 children on the School roll plus 17 in our Nursery Unit. Chil- dren are normally offered places in the Nursery for the term after their 3rd birthday moving into Reception Class in the September after they are four. The School transitioned from a Lower School to a Primary School in September 2017 and we are currently looking forward to moving into the second and final phase of the new build after Christmas this year. In our last Ofsted Report in March 2017 we were rated good in all areas and in our last SIAMS the same year we were judged outstanding.
