                              Home-School Assignments
Class Level: 4th Class A (Mr Murray)
                          Week Beginning: Monday 30th March
Dear students,
I hope that you had a good week last week and have now setup a regular routine for yourself. This
week I will continue to assign Maths, English and Gaeilge work each day as these are the core
subjects of the primary curriculum. A new Manga High assignment will be made available each day. I
know there were some issues with accessing the Léigh sa Bhaile mp3 files last week. I have
listed an improved step-by-step guide to accessing these in “Online Resources Access” section at the
end of this document this week.

I have also included some other challenges which you can choose to take on this week also to keep
your mind active and learning. We have listed these separate to the day-to-day English, Maths
and Gaeilge work. These are optional challenges which you can choose to do or not.

Mr Murray

March 30th to April 3rd Optional Challenges
    PE PE Challenge
Have a go at Joe Wicks PE classes that are on every morning live on YouTube at
9.30am. Here is a link to his PE playlist – a fun 30 minute lesson.

Keep a record of how much exercise you are doing each day. Let’s see if we can do
            even more next week!
   SPHE SPHE Challenge:
Start (or continue to keep) a diary of you and your family’s experience during the Covid-19
Pandemic. Record your observations, thoughts and feelings each day in your copybook.
Choose one copybook to keep all your diary entries in and be sure to date each diary entry.
These will be used to create a class book when we return. Diary entries don’t need to be
long – just a few sentences each day. They are really interesting to read back over when
you have a few weeks’ worth built up.
If you’re not sure what to write News2day could give you some ideas.
