FM53
Avon Protection’s revolutionary FM53 multi-role Respiratory
Protective Equipment (RPE) System has been developed
specifically for specialist applications where the user needs to
respond to ever changing operational conditions.
The FM53 is globally acclaimed as the most technically
advanced mask and offers both positive pressure SCBA, PAPR
and negative pressure APR/capability. All of these capabilities
are available from one mask platform without the need to
change components. Available in right, left or twin port filter
configurations.
The FM53 system was developed to address the multiple
threats encountered on the modern battlefield, war on
terrorism and peace keeping operations. It provides protection
against traditional chemical and biological warfare agents and
select toxic industrial materials (TIMs).
ST53
Avon’s revolutionary ST53 multi-role Respiratory Protective
Equipment (RPE) system has been developed specifically for
specialist applications where the user needs to respond to
changing operational conditions.
The ST53 combines Avon Protection Systems’ FM53 mask with
new and innovative modular breathing apparatus technology
to provide positive pressure SCBA and/or PAPR capability.
FM54
Building on the proven pedigree of the FM53, the Avon FM54
delivers enhanced flame hardening, coupled with improved
passive speech performance, the FM54 provides Specialist
Operators maximum level of protection to the face, eyes
and respiratory tract from CBRN, Riot Agents, TICS and Toxic
Industrial Materials while maintaining extreme user flexibility.
NH15 COMBO
Built on the proven technology of the NH15, the smallest and
lightest NIOSH and CE certified air purifying escape hood ever
developed, the NH15 Combo delivers the proven performance
and functionality of the NH15 and adds an advanced media
to provide carbon monoxide (CO) protection. Providing a high
level of respiratory, eye and face protection for a minimum of
fifteen minutes, the NH15 Combo not only protects against all
airborne CBRN and CO threats but also protects the face from
liquid agent splashes.
CS-PAPR
The Avon CS-PAPR is the newest generation of CBRN Powered
Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) from Avon. Designed for use with
Combination Unit Respirators (CUR’s) the CS-PAPR allows the
user to select the level of protection dependent on the threat,
providing increased duration on target and safer operation. The
wearer can seamlessly switch between APR, PAPR and SCBA
modes of protection and the modular methodology allows the
user to add the Avon CS-PAPR to existing fielded systems such
as the FM53/4 APR and ST53 SCBA.
