         TwoCents launched in 2009 as an integrated creative marketing agency aimed at
         supporting small to medium-sized businesses in six core areas: marketing strategy,
         advertising, creative, branding, social media and digital. Our client roster varies from
         small companies and start-ups, to more major clients including large national and
         global organisations. My roles within TwoCents are numerous; providing overall strategic
         business and marketing direction for the company, business development, human
         resources, financial management, art direction and client account management.

         I began focusing on speaking engagements in late 2009 upon being invited to
         address a PriceWaterhouse Coopers function on social media. Prior to that I had
         addressed a number of Networx Marketing Functions on sponsorship, experiential
         marketing and the difference between marketing to men and women. Following
         the PWC talk, I shifted my focus to developing core presentations, one looking at
         Facebook and social media, and the other focusing on marketing basics for small to
         medium-sized businesses.
         Notably, throughout the past three years, I have spent considerable time delivering
         speeches for major organisations across Australia on the impact and uses of social
         media, understanding strategic marketing, and the benefits of strong branding.
         Highlights have included keynote presentations such as Terri Cooper Networking
         Events, Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), the JAA Australia Jewellery Fair,
         Facebook Australia, the Australian Institute of Management, Grand Designs Live, UAC
         Leaders Forum, the Queensland Government, Leading Property Managers of Australia,
         and BT Financial Group.

                                                                                                    Due for release later this year, my first publication titled Good Ideas Marketing has
                                                                                                    developed over the last year or so as an organic amalgamation of my knowledge and
                                                                                                    experience acquired. Calling upon my years of experience as a sales and marketing
                                                                                                    professional and the director of TwoCents, Good Ideas Marketing endeavours to guide
                                                                                                    small to medium-sized businesses with transforming their business and essentially
                                                                                                    discovering and engaging with new customers through their marketing initiatives.
                                                                                                    Undoubtedly, marketing is the part of a business that many managers, owners and
                                                                                                    CEOs never quite get their heads around, and with so many elements to it, it’s no
                                                                                                    wonder people get confused. This book is a guide for those wanting simple, clear and
                                                                                                    honest advice on the basics of marketing their business.
                                                                                                    Skipping the jargon and cutting through the confusion, I sought to break up the
                                                                                                    arcane arts of marketing and turn them into simple, bite-sized pieces that businesses
                                                                                                    can readily understand. I designed the publication so that audiences will be able to
                                                                                                    work through them with their businesses and instigate a real change in how they

         target market. If a tailored presentation is required, there may be additional costs.
