TIPS FOR PRESENTING

AUDIENCE About 90% of the audience will be retail
professionals. The remaining 10% will be comprised
of academic participants, including faculty and
students, in addition to members of the press. We
ask that you tailor your message to industry peers.

TIME While creating your presentation, be mindful of
your allotted speaking time (30-35 minutes) with
                      Q&A (10-15 minutes). A countdown timer, mic,
clicker, and confidence monitor will be provided.

TOPIC + Please connect your presentation topic and blurb
 THEME to our 2020 theme:
Retail Revolution: Where CX and Digital Collide
Further information will be shared prior to the event.

INTERACT This is a fantastic opportunity to make a first
impression and introduction for your company to
new customers or to connect with existing brand
enthusiasts. As a featured keynote, we encourage
you to package a take-away for the audience
so their learning from your presentation may
                      continue after the conference.

ATTIRE The attire for the Retailing Summit ranges from
business formal to business casual. Presenters are
encouraged to dress for their company brand.

SALES PITCHES Each year attendees are highly critical of
presentations whose sole purpose is to promote
his/her company. Please use this time for thought
leadership, forecasting and for celebrating company
achievements and best practices. The most well
                      received presentations offer insightful content,
metrics and are delivered with enthusiasm.
