 CO-ACC is the preeminent organization serving in-house
     attorneys in Central and Northwest Ohio, with a
    membership 544 attorneys, ranging from the largest
corporate law departments in the area to single attorney law
                       departments.
2019 SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
             Opportunities and Guidelines
 The Board of Directors of the Central Ohio chapter of the Association of
 Corporate Counsel (“CO-ACC”) is pleased to invite you to participate in the
 2019 Sponsorship Program. CO-ACC is the preeminent organization serving
 in-house attorneys in Central and Northwest Ohio, with a membership of
 544 attorneys, ranging from the largest corporate law departments in the area
 to single attorney law departments.
 CO-ACC is currently accepting applications for sponsorship of CO-
 ACC events and educational programs for the 2019 calendar year. Spon-
 sorships are available at the following levels:

 Sponsorship Level                                 Sponsorship Fee
  Platinum Level                                   $7,500
  Gold Level                                       $5,500
  Silver Level                                     $3,500
  Non-CLE Events                                   $1,500
Sponsorships opportunities are available to law firms or other legal service
providers and vendors serving the legal community. All interested parties
must apply to serve as a sponsor for CO-ACC programs by completing the
2019 Sponsorship Enrollment Form. In order to optimize program and event
choices, please E-MAIL completed enrollment forms to CO-ACC as soon as
possible, but no later than December 31, 2018.

CO-ACC will select the 2019 sponsors based on chapter needs, topic
availability, the timeliness of application submission, and prior experience.
All decisions are final and at CO-ACC’s sole discretion. CO-ACC will notify
all applicants approved as a 2019 sponsor. The applicable Sponsorship Fee is
due and payable in full within 30 days of the date of notification.

Platinum Level Sponsorship ($7,500)

   Exclusive sponsor of one 3.0 hour CLE program and a networking/
    social event immediately preceding or following the CLE program at
    Sponsor’s expense.
   Opportunity to invite up to 10 of Sponsor’s clients to attend the pro-
    gram and event.
   Opportunity to have a CO-ACC member of Sponsor’s choice give a
    brief introduction/testimonial regarding the Sponsor at the CLE
    program.
   Opportunity to webcast the CLE program through the ACC website at
    no additional fee.
   Opportunity to host up to 2 Non-CLE events (as outlined below) for
    no additional fee.
   Opportunity to write a substantive law article to be distributed to CO-
    ACC members through the ACC Newsletter.
   CO-ACC will promote the CLE and Non-CLE events to its members.
   CO-ACC will give Sponsor prominent recognition with Sponsor’s
    logo displayed on the CO-ACC website and LinkedIn page.
   CO-ACC will appoint a Board Liaison to assist Sponsor with the
    events, if needed.
   CO-ACC will invite Sponsor to attend the annual Sponsor Recognition
    Party.
Gold Level Sponsorship ($5,500)

   Exclusive sponsor of one 2.0 hour CLE program and a networking/
    social event immediately preceding or following the CLE program at
    Sponsor’s expense.
   Opportunity to invite up to 4 of Sponsor’s clients to attend the
    program and event.
   Opportunity to have a CO-ACC member of Sponsor’s choice give a
    brief introduction/testimonial regarding the Sponsor at the CLE
    program.
   Opportunity to webcast the CLE program through the ACC website
    for an additional $500.
   Opportunity to host up to 1 Non-CLE event (as outlined below) for
    no additional fee.
   Opportunity to write a substantive law article to be distributed to
    CO-ACC members through the ACC Newsletter.
   CO-ACC will promote the CLE and Non-CLE events to its members.
   CO-ACC will give Sponsor prominent recognition with Sponsor’s
    logo displayed on the CO-ACC website and LinkedIn page.
   CO-ACC will appoint a Board Liaison to assist Sponsor with the
    events if needed.
   CO-ACC will invite Sponsor to attend the annual Sponsor
    Recognition Party.
Silver Level Sponsorship ($3,500)

   Exclusive sponsor of one 1.0 hour CLE program and a networking/
    social event immediately preceding or following the CLE program at
    Sponsor’s expense.
   Opportunity to invite up to 2 of Sponsor’s clients to attend the
    program and event.
   Opportunity to have a CO-ACC member of Sponsor’s choice give a
    brief introduction/testimonial regarding the Sponsor at the CLE
    program.
   Opportunity to webcast the CLE program through the ACC website
    for an additional $500.
   CO-ACC will promote the CLE program to its members.
   CO-ACC will give Sponsor prominent recognition with Sponsor’s
    logo displayed on the CO-ACC website and LinkedIn page.
   CO-ACC will appoint a Board Liaison to assist Sponsor with the
    events, if needed.
   CO-ACC will invite Sponsor to attend the annual Sponsor Recogni-
    tion Party.
Non-CLE Events ($1,500)

   Opportunity to plan and host a Non-CLE event including the following:
       Social/networking events
       Educational events such as roundtables, workshops, lunch and learns, etc.
       Pro Bono events
       Career development events
   CO-ACC will promote the Non-CLE event to its members.
   CO-ACC will give Sponsor prominent recognition with Sponsor’s logo dis-
    played on the CO-ACC website and LinkedIn page.
   CO-ACC will appoint a Board Liaison to assist Sponsor with the event, if
    needed.
   CO-ACC will invite Sponsor to attend the annual Sponsor Recognition Party.
2019 SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
                 Topics and Networking
CO-ACC will generally allow the Sponsors to choose the topics they wish to pre-
sent, so long as they are eligible for CLE credit and are not duplicative of the topic
being presented by another Sponsor. Following are some suggested topics offered
by the membership:
   ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations)
   Electronic Communications Controls (How to keep people from sending stupid
    emails)
   Anti-Trust Compliance or other Compliance
       Form policy documents and a presentation to the Board on why it is
       important; Understanding what can and cannot be done with competitors
   Attorney Client Privilege in In-house Situations
       How does privilege extend to employees acting as the agent of the in-
       house attorney? Legal communications to insurance adjusters and other per
       sons assisting in the litigation or claims process?
   Consequential Damages –What does this mean/how to negotiate it in contracts?
   Non-Competes in Various Jurisdictions – What is the bare minimum language that
    can work across the states and be enforceable?
   Non-Exempt Employee Bonuses – How to structure to not have to gross up for tax
    purposes
   Lease Reviews- What is important?
   Doing Business in Mexico – Contract enforcement and general business concerns.
   #me too – What should in-house counsel who don’t think they have a problem be
    doing now to confirm whether or not you have a problem?
   Drug Testing in a Country Where Cannabis is Legal in Certain States
   How do hiring practices work for employees with medical cards?
