                          ESSENTIAL LABOR: MOTHERING
                          AS SOCIAL CHANGE
The newest release from Angela Garbes,
author of Like a Mother: A Feminist
Journey through the Science and Culture
of Pregnancy. Exploring the strains and
                          responsibilities of maternal caretakers,
                          Essential Labor delves into societal
devaluation of mothering. As a highly skilled
and challenging part of raising society, the
act of mothering is foundational to our futures
not just for children but for any parents’
                                                                          LIKE A MOTHER
exploration of themselves. With radical care
                                                                          ($16.99)
and nuturing, mothering can be - and is - a
                          force in social change. ($25.99)

                           MA AND ME: A MEMOIR

and Me chronicles Reang’s experience of being caught
between her identity as a gay woman and the sense
of love and duty she has for her mother. ($28)

                         URBAN CASCADIA AND THE PURSUIT
                         OF ENVRIONMENTAL JUSTICE
Urban Cascadia and the Pursuit of Environmental Justice
asks if progressive environmental ideals can be reached
without recognizing the impact of colonialism and the
essential work and message of Indigenous environmental
activists. This volume examines environmental justice within
the essential context of Indigenous sovereignty and the
                         politics of environmental change. ($30)

THE INTERSECTIONAL ENVIRONMENTALIST
This new release is a primer on how race, class, privilege, and
environmentalism are all intertwined. Both a call to action
and guide on next steps, activist Leah Thomas shares how
environmental issues impact Black, Indigenous, and people of
color the most, and that environmental injustices directly tie into
issues of equality and civil rights we are still fighting for. ($25)
