To jump start your career in the beauty industry, you need to learn the fundamentals of basic makeup. Begin your journey as a makeup artist
with SRA’s Level 3 Makeup & Skincare course. In 14 weeks, you will learn the foundation skills and knowledge to provide a range of makeup
and skin care services within a variety of workplaces.
This qualification allows you to work in retail, for cosmetic houses or spas, or to start as a freelance makeup artist. Or it can form the base for
you to progress later on to our Level 4 Certificate in Makeup Artistry to master the craft and gain an even wider range of makeup skills.

learn the fundamentals of makeup coupled with new techniques and trends from our industry-expert tutors.
This workshop is intended for beginners or for professionals in other industries who want to refresh or further their personal makeup skills to
add value or help them perform better in their chosen industry. This is also recommended for anyone who wants an introductory ‘taster’ to
see if it’s for them.

Unleash the creativity in you
Our School Holiday Programme is designed to support Year 11 to Year 13 students’ transition from high school to tertiary education or em-
ployment by providing them with a taste of the makeup/beauty/fashion industry while still at school. This may help to inform a sound decision
about possibly pursuing the incredible career path which is a professional makeup artist. This programme is also intended for Year 11 – Year
13 students who are either passionate about makeup or who want an introductory ‘taster’ to see if makeup artistry is for them.
The programme is divided into 3 parts. Each part encompasses specific topics and skills which we recommend to be taken all together. It is
an integrated programme so completing all three parts will give students a more complete and balanced learning experience. However, each
part can be considered separately depending on a student’s area of interest.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
Part 1 (April): Beauty Makeup Services (10 credits)
Students will be able to conduct a client consultation to determine makeup selection and perform makeup services.
Part 2 (July): Makeup in TV, Film & Theatre (6 credits)
Students will be able to research, develop, visually communicate and apply a makeup design concept for a given work
Part 3: (Oct) Advanced Fashion Makeup (10 credits)
Students will be able to perform skincare services for the face in preparation for makeup application.
