Term 2 - Week 4A 13th May 2021
Dear Parents
Mrs Karen Wilson A big thank you to the parents who helped out at our Mother’s Day Stall
Principal
this year. It was so nice to be able to run this stall again and to give
students the opportunity to show their mothers or loved ones how special
16-38 Guinane Avenue,
they are to them. It was a huge undertaking by the Parents and Friends
as stock needed to be ordered early in order to ensure a good supply.
Hoppers Crossing, 3029 However I’m sure that their efforts were appreciated by all on Mother’s
Day when the children were able to give out their presents.

On Monday night we had our Prep 2022 Information Night. It was great
to see so many faces on the night as we welcomed new members to our
school community. Families were given an overview of what our school

SCHOOL UNIFORM TERM 2
Typically in term 2 there is a change over from summer uniform to winter uniform. We
recognise that the warm weather may still be with us at the start of term 2 and therefore
the children may continue to wear summer uniform, including hats for weeks three and
four of the term. However if the weather is cool, we expect parents to make a sensible
decision and send their children to school in winter uniform. This transition time from
summer uniform to winter uniform is for week three and four of the term and it is expected
that all children will be in FULL WINTER UNIFORM by Monday, 17th May.Term 2 - Week 4A Page 3 SACRAMENTAL DATES FOR 2021 RECONCILIATION Parent/ Student night - Thursday 11th March - 7pm Reflection day - students only - Friday 12th March First Reconciliation - Tuesday 16th March - 7pm First Reconciliation - Thursday 18th March - 7pm FIRST EUCHARIST (YEAR 4 STUDENTS) Parent/ Student night - Tuesday 11th May - 7pm Reflection Day - students only - Friday 14th May Eucharist masses - Saturday 15th May 6pm, Sunday 16th May 10.30am Saturday 29th May 6pm, Sunday 30th May 10.30am FIRST EUCHARIST (YEAR 5 STUDENTS) Parent/ Student night - Tuesday 1st June - 7pm Reflection Day - students only - Friday 11th June Eucharist masses - Saturday 12th June 6pm, Sunday 13th June 10.30am Saturday 19th June 6pm, Sunday 20th June 10.30am CONFIRMATION (2020 YEAR 6) Reflection Day Monday 22nd February - Thomas Carr College - students only - 9.30am - 2pm Confirmation - Thursday 25th February - St Peter’s - 7pm CONFIRMATION (2021 YEAR 6) Parent/ student night - Thursday 26th August - 7pm Reflection Day - students only - Wednesday 8th September Confirmation - Thursday 9th September - St Peter’s - 7pm

Term 2 - Week 4A Page 5 On the 30th of April our students competed in the District Cross Country Carnival which was held at Heathdale Christian College. St Peter’s put up an incredible effort in what was a very difficult course under quite hot conditions. We finished in 4th place with Heathdale Christian College coming away with the win overall. Well done to these students who finished in the top 10 in their events and therefore progress to the Division Cross Country Carnival which will be held at Presidents Park on the 26th May. Ashley E, Tristan P, Jessica T, Alecia M, Milla E, Maxwell B and Romeo M. Also a big Congratulations to all of the students who were a part of this year's Cross Country Team.
