SCOTT STREET DETOUR ➢ Buses will move onto Scott St from Transitway in April 2022. ➢ Widening of Scott St, west of Tunney’s Pasture, to accommodate additional bus traffic ➢ MUPs and traffic signals will be relocated during the detour ➢ Fencing will be in place around work zones ➢ Construction of a transit-only bridge at Roosevelt Ave 5
SCOTT ST. DETOUR - ROOSEVELT PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AT DOMINION AVE. ➢ Utilities relocation work is currently ongoing prior to bridge removal later this spring ➢ Summer installation of temporary new bridge for buses to cross over Transitway ➢ Sound buffering echo barriers will be installed near residential area at Workman/Dominion ➢ This is to allow construction of the station and guideway in Transitway trench while maintaining bus routes 6
KITCHISSIPPI LOOKOUT AND SJAM ➢ Utilities relocation between Atlantis Ave and SJAM, to Kitchissippi Lookout: May to July ➢ Work at Atlantis Avenue requires a temporary road closure May-June 2021 ➢ Boreholes to determine locations of rock underway through May 9

CLEARY AVENUE ➢Cleary and Richmond area utilities work is ongoing with manholes and West Nepean Collector excavation ➢New watermain installation this summer 13

SHERBOURNE STATION AREA ➢ Relocation of utilities is ongoing, anticipated to be completed this summer. ➢ Drilling of soldier piles ongoing for the excavation of the tunnel ➢ Excavation work within Byron Linear Park is expected to begin in late June 15
OVERVIEW – BYRON LINEAR PARK 1. Tunnel work is progressing well across 6. Echo Barriers will be installed in more the Parkway tunnel areas as concrete barriers with wire 2. BYRON LINEAR PARK – CUT AND COVER TUNNEL ➢The Cut and Cover tunnel in Byron Linear Park is being excavated to an approximate depth of 10.5 metres. ➢Cut and Cover construction operations are now underway and will continue until 2023. ➢Rock breaking is required to excavate for the tunnel between Hartleigh Avenue and Sherbourne Road. 17

WOODROFFE AVENUE AT RICHMOND ROAD – 13-DAY CLOSURE ➢ Construction of a temporary road bridge crossing Woodroffe will begin on May 28 for 13 days. ➢ This temporary closure is required to maintain traffic flow while tunnel excavation occurs underneath. ➢ Preparations start early May followed by a 13-day road closure with daytime and nighttime work scheduled starting May 28. 19

COMMUNITY IMPACTS • Majority of the work will occur from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. • There will be intermittent overnight and weekend work. Weekend work will begin at 8am on Saturdays, 9am on Sundays. • Construction is permitted to occur between 6:00 am to 10:00 pm 7 days/week. o All construction work in Ottawa is permitted to work 7 days a week; o In Ottawa there are NO mechanisms to prevent 7 days a week work; o During COVID-19, Province of Ontario superseded Ottawa’s by laws allowing work to begin at 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Monday to Sunday; o In Ottawa, affected ward Councillors’ play a role in the issuance of Noise By-law Exemption permits for night work. 27
COMMUNITY IMPACTS • Noise and vibration from trucks and heavy equipment should be expected. • Noise and vibration levels are continuously monitored and reported to the City to ensure they are within the limits established for the Project. • Dust suppression and street sweeping will be ongoing. Site lighting for overnight work will be required, which will be directed away from residences. • All pedestrian, cycling, bus, and vehicular movements will generally be maintained during construction apart from highway ramp closures. Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution when localized detours are in place. • Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, and use extra caution as traffic patterns change. Motorists should use caution and allow for added travel time when moving through active construction corridors. 28
