Summer Camps include a variety of week-long and
1-day camp experiences for children ages 2 through
entering 6th grade. Camps include art, science, Legos,
and sports. All camp instructors are experienced, trained
educators who have undergone background checks. All camps
and VBS will adhere to COVID-19 safety policies and procedures (see page 2).

   Registration (begins April 12)
   Camps are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis with limited spots
   available. Waitlists are available for sessions that become full.

   accepted online, and check and cash payments can be left in the church
   office. Camp spots are not secured until payment is received. Registration
   confirmation and receipts will be sent after payment is received and processed.

   Change of plans?
   Refunds are available if requested 14 days prior to camp start date.

BUMC SUMMER CAMP/VBS

Please keep in mind, while we will do everything reasonable to keep your children and our staff
healthy, BUMC Children’s Ministry summer programs are not a 100% risk free environment. The
responsibility lies with each individual person and family to maintain a healthy environment
for children by following our camp policies and those of local authorities.

Vacation Bible School
         August 2 - August 6

Join us for a week of sharing God’s love, fun,
   music, games, crafts and bible stories!

Cost: $40 per child ($100 family maximum). Includes t-shirt,
                 music CD and all supplies.

 Ages: Fully potty trained 3 year olds - entering 6th grade.

Preschool Camps (2 Years - Entering Kindergarten)

ART & PLAY

Instructor: Mingo Williamson, BUMC Children’s Director

Kids will have fun with crafts, songs and games all centered around a selection of fun
books for preschool children. They will be active and get messy, so comfortable, easy-
wash clothes are recommended. Each date has different books and art activities.
Potty trained is not required.

LEGO I CAMP
5-DAY CAMP
Instructors: Building Brains Staff

Trained instructors will use LEGOs, Duplos and K’NEX to help your child build math
and science skills. Building kits have gears, levers and pulleys to create machines that
really work! Campers will use colors, sizes and shapes to build machines, fine motor
skills and confidence. Class themes include “Pirates That Can Build Anything,” “Very
Hungry Caterpillar” and “It’s a Bug’s Life.” Potty training is required.

ROOKIE SPORTS
4-DAY CAMP
Instructors: Armored Sports Coaches & Staff

A camp designed with little gals and guys in mind. This is way more than “Duck-Duck-
Goose.” Games will include Meatball Tag, Sink the Battleship, 5 kinds of Dodgeball
(with super soft balls), Jurassic Park, and of course, a Bible lesson. Potty training is
required.

science and polymers as they learn about God’s amazing universe. They will be
active, so comfortable easy-wash clothes are recommended. Potty training is
required.

ALL STAR SPORTS CAMP
4-DAY CAMP
Instructors: Armored Sports Coaches & Staff

An awesome sports program where the main ingredient is FUN! This camp will include
sports like Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, Capture the Flag, Kickball, and Dodgeball,
and of course, a Bible lesson. Your child will get lots of exercise and enjoy every
minute of it!

A fun and busy camp for kids who love art and want to try everything. Campers will
explore various art mediums from painting to sculpture and more! Campers will get
messy, so comfortable easy wash clothes are recommended.

age and kids learn throwing, catching, dodging as well as basic dodgeball strategy.

Two different hands-on experiment days for your science-minded kiddos. Come explore
the world of optical illusions and make your own animation zoetrope to take home or
explore crystals, fossils and minerals, and take home a bag of geological treasures.

Students will build machines with gears, pulleys and levers, then motorize them with
LEGO and K’NEX educational kits. As students advance, sessions lead to participants
using computers to set their designs into motion. Students will challenge each other
to create, build and test the best designs. A great week of science and math skills put
to work!
