Summer Reading 2018 as recommended by - The English Department The Department of Modern Foreign Languages - St. George's International School ...
Dear St George’s Community,

We invite you to spend your summer visiting faraway places, meeting
intriguing new people, and going on exciting adventures. A good book
can help you to do all this with the power of your imagination!

At St George’s we value the importance of reading, as it can help to
develop and improve a range of skills such as language, vocabulary,
communication and critical thinking. It also helps to foster curiosity
and creativity, as well as enabling us to learn more about the world
we live in.

To get you started on your journey, we have compiled this extensive
reading list. There is something for everyone in here, based on age,
language, and level. We aim to update the list each summer so that
you can keep reading, exploring, and expanding your horizons.

Happy reading!
