ABOUT THE AREA

                 General Overview
                 Marshfield (population 18,891) is a city in Wood and Marathon
                 counties and the largest city in Wood County, Wisconsin. The
                 city is part of the Marshfield-Wisconsin Rapids MSA and is
                 located at the intersection of U.S. Route 10, MI-13 and MI-97.

                 Marshfield is known for its world-class health care and is home
                 to Marshfield Medical Center, which serves much of Central,
                 Northern, and Western Wisconsin. The city has been ranked
    SITE         one of the best places to live and raise a family in Wisconsin and
                 has several highly ranked public schools. It provides a dense
                 suburban feel with many choices for lodging, dining, shopping,
                 and attractions.

                 There are several attractions within the city such as the 150-
                 acre Wildwood Park and Zoo. Wildwood has become one of the
                 state’s premier parks and leading municipal zoos. There are 3
                 business/industrial parks within the city: Yellowstone Industrial
                 Park, Mill Creek Business Park, and Norwood Industrial Park.
                 The parks total 357 acres and consist of companies including
                 Mathy Construction, Packaging Corporation of America, UW-
                 Madison Agricultural Research Station, Prevention Genetics,

                 Wood County (population 73,134) was named after Joseph
                 Wood, a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. The
                 county consists of 26 cities and is part of the Wisconsin
                 Rapids-Marshfield MSA and included in the Wausau-Stevens
                 Point-Wisconsin Rapids MSA. The county spans 809 square
                 miles and two of five geographical regions in Wisconsin.

                 soybeans, hay, and dairy. The county is home to a 21,000-acre
                 wildlife conservation and offers activities such as camping,
                 birdwatching, hiking, hunting, cross-country skiing, and more.

                 Alexander Field South Wood County Airport and Marshfield
