DAY 1 – AUGUST 12 - DEPART USA

DAY 2 – AUGUST 13 - ARRIVE KILIMANJARO AIRPORT – TANZANIA / ARUSHA
Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport this evening. You will be met on arrival by Safari Legacy and transferred
to the Lake Duluti Lodge. https://www.lakedulutilodge.com/

DAY 3 – AUGUST 14- ARUSHA – CULTURAL HERITAGE
Morning welcome briefing (approximately 2 hours) followed by transfer to Cultural Heritage for
shopping and lunch. Drive back to the lodge. Overnight Lake Duluti Lodge. (BLD)

DAY 4 & 5 - AUGUST 15 & 16 - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
This morning following breakfast and a safari briefing, travel to Tarangire National Park where you
will enjoy game drives each day. Tarangire is known for a wonderful diversity of wildlife amidst the
magnificent baobab trees that dot its beautiful landscape. The park sits at a geographical and cultural
crossroads. To its east lie the vast Simanjaro Plains, inhabited by the Maasai, and to the west stands
the escarpment wall of the Great Rift Valley. Tarangire is also known for some of the largest herds of
elephant in East Africa and is home to more than 2,500 individuals. Overnight Tarangire Kuro Treetops

DAY 6 - AUGUST 17 - TARANGIRE / MAASAI VILLAGE / MTO WA MBU CULTURAL VILLAGE /
NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS
This morning we enjoy a morning game drive as we depart Tarangire National Park en route to a
local Maasai village. After our visit with the Maasai, we drive to the local village of Mto Wa Mbu, ere
we will explore and enjoy a traditional African lunch. This afternoon we will travel to the
Ngorongoro Highlands, where we overnight at the beautiful Ngorongoro Oldeani Mt. Lodge, situated
on a picturesque hill with spectacular views onto Oldeani Mountain and Ngorongoro Crater Rim

DAY 7 - AUGUST 18 - NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast, we make our descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, the Earth’s largest unbroken
caldera. A veritable “Garden of Eden,” the Crater is reputed to contain the highest density of
carnivores, which includes cheetah, leopard and lion. This is the only place in East Africa where one
can observe a natural population of black rhino and big tuskers. Enjoy a full day exploring the crater

DAY 8 – AUGUST 19 - NGORONGORO HIGHLAND / FLY FROM MANYARA TO THE SERENGETI NATIONAL
PARK (NORTHWEST SERENGETI)
After breakfast, depart for Manyara Airstrip for our scenic flight departing at 10:10 am to the
Serengeti, home to the greatest concentration of large mammals on Earth. Upon arrival at the
Kogatende Airstrip you will be met by your Safari Legacy safari guide. Enjoy a game drive enroute to

DAY 14 – AUGUST 25 - FLY MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI - VISIT DAPHNE SHELDRICKS’ ELEPHANT
ORPHANAGE / DEPART
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Afternoon (3:00 pm) private
visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Late afternoon dayrooms are provided at the Crown Plaza Hotel
if time allows. Evening transfer to the airport for departing flights this evening. (BL)

DAY 15 – AUGUST 26 – ARRIVE USA

DAY 2 – AUGUST 26 - NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park with a game drive on the way to Ol Tukai Lodge.
The lodge is located at the heart of Amboseli National Park, with snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro
rising in the distance. Amboseli is considered one of the most photogenic of Kenya’s parks and
reserves, with an abundance of savannah animals, including wildebeest, common zebra, African
buffalo, impala, and Grants gazelle. Amboseli National Park is also one of East Africa’s best locations

DAY 3 – AUGUST 27 & 28 - EXPLORE AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
We rise early this morning with an awe-inspiring view of magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. With more
than 420 species recorded, Amboseli is known for its bird population. Both greater and lesser
flamingos frequent the shallow margins of Amboseli’s lakes, as do birds rarely seen elsewhere in East
Africa, such as the Madagascar Scuacco Heron and long-toed lapwing. Following a full day of
wildlife viewing we return to our lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight Ol Tukai Lodge. (BLD)

DAY 4 – AUGUST 29 – FLY AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK TO NAIROBI / EVENING DEPARTURE
After breakfast transfer to Amboseli Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Wilson
Airport transfer to the Crown Plaza Hotel where lunch and dayrooms are provided until your transfer
to the airport for your departing flight this evening. (BL)

                            RESERVATION FORM – HOW TO BOOK YOUR SAFARI
A deposit of $5,000* per person ($5,700* if doing the extension) is due at the time of your reservation/booking along with
your completed reservation form for the Mark Zablotsky Tanzania & Kenya Photography Workshop which departs on
 August 12, 2021 and returns on August 26, 2021. A progress payment of $3,787 ($4,407* if doing the extension) is due 6
 months prior to departure (3/12/21). The final payment of $3,787* ($4,407* if doing the extension) is due 90 days before
  departure (5/12/21). If your reservation is less than 91 days prior to departure, full payment will be due at the time of
 booking. Credit cards are not accepted for deposits or final payments. *(IF you are not rooming with someone, and are
               doing the single supplement, the deposit and other payments will be adjusted accordingly).

   AIR TRANSPORTATION
   As a courtesy to our guests, we are happy to assist you with your international flight arrangements from your
   hometown to Africa. We recommend Delta/KLM as they offer the most convenient routing with daily flights from the
   US to Tanzania or Kenya via Amsterdam. However, there are other air carrier/options available as well. Please email
   your air request to: jennifer@safarilegacy.com, for a quote in either economy or business class, and to receive a schedule
   which will be put together for you by our air supplier for you to review. (Credit cards can be used for all air
   reservations. Once flights are purchased, tickets are 100% non-refundable. If our air supplier arranges your flights,
   you will not be able to apply any frequent flyer miles to purchase or upgrade your tickets, you will, however, be able to
   accrue miles. Book early as there is a high demand for Delta/KLM once-daily flights.

   FINAL PAYMENT
   Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. All final payments are payable by check or money order. Credit cards
   are not accepted. Checks are made payable to Safari Legacy and mailed to: Safari Legacy, 4179 Old Cahaba Pkwy,

   therefore assume all risk involved with regard to this safari and agree that Mark Zablotsky and staff members of Safari

                           GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS – USA
How to book/reserve your Safari -
Deposits are due at the time of reservation in order to reserve and confirm your space on the Mark Zablotsky
Photography Workshop in Tanzania & Kenya. The deposit amount is $5000 ($5,700 if doing the extension) per person.
Required deposits can change based on the accommodations chosen on safari and their terms and conditions. Deposits
and progress payments can be made by check and are payable to SAFARI LEGACY. Please mail your deposit with
your reservation form to Safari Legacy, 4179 Old Cahaba Parkway, Helena, AL 35080. Deposit amounts will vary for
custom-designed safaris.

Progress payment of $3,787 ($4,407 if doing the extension) is due 6 months prior to departure.
Final Payments: Final payment is due 90 days (or 3 months) prior to departure and is payable by check to Safari Legacy.

Single Travelers:
Our safari costs are based on double occupancy. However, we try to accommodate single travelers who request single
accommodations, as well as single travelers who are looking for a roommate. If a single room is requested, or we are
unable to find a suitable roommate, you will need to pay the single supplement. Single accommodations are not available
on all safaris.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If we cancel the tour, for reasons other than force majeure, you will be 100% refunded for deposits, progress payments,
and final payments. Otherwise, because this is a small group safari, and the loss of any traveler will affect the costs of the
remaining travelers, payments are non-refundable, UNLESS we can replace your spot on the trip (and if this occurs there
may be an administrative fee to make this possible). Therefore, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND you purchase travel
insurance.

Please note: Safari Legacy is not responsible for any airline penalties or fees due to the cancellation of your safari by
you the traveler or by Safari Legacy.

Some safaris may incur additional cancellation fees (especially gorilla safaris, which gorilla permits are non-refundable).
There will be no refund for any unused portions of a safari once it has commenced. Cancellation penalties on airfares and
gorilla permits are additional and may not be included in the above cancellation charges. Cancellation insurance for the
total safari cost is strongly recommended.

Transfers - Transfers are subject to the same terms as cancellations, unless otherwise specified.

Age Limits - In certain camps, lodges, hotels and beach resorts and on specific activities, minimum age limits can apply.
TRAVEL INSURANCE & MEDICAL EVACUATION
We highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance - Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance as well as air
evacuation insurance. Safari Legacy recommends The Travel Insurance Center for your travel insurance needs. Please

Cancellation by Safari Legacy:
In the rare event that your safari is canceled by Safari Legacy for reasons other than force majeure or extraordinary causes
beyond Safari Legacy’s control, all monies paid to Safari Legacy will be refunded in full, excluding expenses incurred for
preparing for the safari, including non-refundable airline tickets, immunizations, passport and visa fees. If a safari is
cancelled by Safari Legacy for reasons of force majeure or extraordinary causes beyond Safari Legacy’s control, Safari
Legacy will make every attempt to recoup the maximum reimbursements from our partners on the ground and will in
turn refund all recoverable costs possible.

Our Published Rates:
Changes in rates are rare, and caused by extraordinary circumstances outside Safari Legacy’s’ control. In the rare event
that a cost should increase, cancellation is allowed without penalty. All prices are per person, based on double occupancy.
All prices are subject to change if beyond our control.

Travel Documents/Vaccinations:
Travelers must be in possession of valid passports with an expiration date beyond 6 months of your return date, and any
visas, permits and certificates required for the whole of their safari and shall arrange such vaccinations as are normally
recommended for the countries through which they intend to travel. Information as to these matters and as to climate,
clothing, baggage, gear, and similar matters is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of Safari Legacy.

Schedule of Mail-outs:
On receipt of your reservation & deposit, you will receive a confirmation E – package by email. (if you do not have email
access please let us know and we can send the confirmation by mail). This confirmation E package will include items to
help you prepare for your safari. A final packet of information is mailed 21-30 days prior to departure, which will include
your final itinerary, guest list, e ticket receipt if air was issued by our air supplier, luggage & name tag (if applicable to
your safari). Final packets are not mailed until all payments, health forms and a signed copy the reservation form which
includes these terms and conditions are received.

Release of Liability:
In consideration of the services and arrangements provided by Safari Legacy, Inc in the USA, Safari Legacy, Ltd. in
Tanzania, Safari Legacy in Nairobi, Kenya, you, for yourself and for your heirs, personal representatives or assigns, do
hereby release, waive, discharge, hold harmless and agree to indemnify Safari Legacy, and its owners, officers, directors,
agents, contractors, subcontractors and employees from any and all claims, actions, or losses for bodily injury, property
damage, wrongful death, loss of services, loss of personal belongings, lost profits, consequential, exemplary, indirect or
punitive damages or otherwise which may arise out of or occur during your travel in connection with the scheduled
travel package and any activities conducted in conjunction therewith.

YOU SPECIFICALLY UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE RELEASING, DISCHARGING AND WAIVING ANY CLAIMS
OR ACTIONS THAT YOU MAY HAVE PRESENTLY OR IN THE FUTURE FOR THE NEGLIGENT ACTS OR
CONDUCT OF THE OWNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS OR
SUBCONTRACTORS OF SAFARI LEGACY.
