Day 7 NDUTU / KOGATENDE (NORTHERN SERENGETI)
This morning, board our flight to the far north of Serengeti
National Park. Check in to your stone and thatch room at Lamai
Serengeti, set high above the Mara River Valley. (B,L,D)
Days 8 & 9 KOGATENDE
Explore the area during game drives to view iconic African wildlife,
including the Big Five and numerous plains species. (B,L,D daily)

Day 10 KOGATENDE / KILIMANJARO
After breakfast, board our charter flight to Kilimanjaro. Connect
with your independent homeward flight. (B)
You will need to purchase airfare from your home city/Kilimanjaro CHEETAHS
and Kilimanjaro/home city. Our in-house Air Department can make
your reservation for a $50 per person fee. Intra-tour airfare is
included in the cost of this expedition. Before booking your own
flights to/from Kilimanjaro, please contact our Air Department for
the charter flight details to ensure that you have enough time to
make your connections

Know Before You Go RIVERTREES COUNTRY INN
Travel will be by small charter aircraft as well as Land Rovers
and game-drive vehicles. Participants should be aware that
the game drives are often over bumpy surfaces and can
sometimes be long and strenuous. Many nights spent on
safari will be in tented accommodations. These tents are
en suite and are designed to the highest standards and are
quite comfortable, with hot and cold water and showers in
the adjoining bathroom area. Many have separate lounge and
bar areas that overlook the surrounding plains, which adds to
the excitement and ambiance of being on safari. It should be
noted, however, that there are no fences around the camps,
and animals of all sizes are sometimes encountered within the
camp boundaries.
