 Conditions of Contract to Exhibit

1A. The Organizing Committee acts for exhibitors and their representatives in the capacity of agent, not
as principal. Organizing Committee assumes no liability of any act of omission or commission in
connection with this agency. The exhibitor and his/her representative hereby release and, in addition,
agree to hold harmless from any and all costs, expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees)
and liabilities for loss or damage ensuing from any cause whatever.

1B. All parties involved in the exhibit, including specifically, but not limited to, Marina Bay Sands Expo
and Convention Centre, the owner, the leasing association, the sponsor, and the individual exhibitor,
agree to pay and all claims arising out of their own negligence or that of their respective employees or
grants.

1C. Each party agrees to be responsible for its own property, through insurance or self-insurance, and
shall hold harmless any and all other parties from any damage caused by theft and other perils normally
covered by fire and extended coverage policies.

2. Unethical conduct or infarction of rules on the part of the exhibitor or his or her representatives or
both will subject the exhibitor or his or her representative to dismissal from the exhibit area, in which
event it is agreed that no refund shall be made and further that no demand for redress will be made by
the exhibitor or his or her representatives.

3. Organizing Committee will endeavor to assist in the protection of exhibitors by providing 24- hour
roaming security service. However, due to the tremendous value of exhibits, it is impractical and
impossible to insure exhibitors’ equipment against lost, theft, damage, and breakage. Neither the hotel,
nor any of its employees nor its representatives, nor any representative of the Organizing Committee,
nor any subcontractor will be responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to the exhibitor, the exhibitor’s
employees or property, however caused. In addition, the exhibitor must assume responsibility for
damage to the hotel’s property and indemnify and hold harmless the hotel from liability, which might
ensure from any cause whatsoever, including accidents, or injuries to exhibitors, their agents, or
employees. In view of the foregoing, exhibitors are urged to place “extraterritorial” and other coverage of
equipment and exhibits, and arrange for extended public liability insurance with their regular insurance
carrier, particularly if they are conducting experiments or demonstrations using heat or high voltage.
Organizing Committee will cooperate fully but cannot assume responsibility for damage to exhibitor’s
property, lost shipments, either coming into or going out of the premises, or for moving costs. Any
damage due to inadequately packed property is exhibitor’s own responsibility. If exhibit fails to arrive,
exhibitors will nevertheless be responsible for booth rent and no refund will be made. Exhibitors should
carry insurance against such risks.

4. Care of Building and Equipment: Exhibitors, or their agents, must not injure or deface the walls or
floors of the building, the booths, or the equipment on the booths. Any and all damages, losses,
expenses, and/or costs incurred by the exhibitor will be the sole responsibility of the exhibitor.

5. In order to avoid infringement of rights and privileges of exhibitors, interviews should not take place
outside of booths.

6A. Organizing Committee may, at its sole discretion, withhold or withdraw permission to distribute
souvenirs, advertising, or other materials it considers objectionable. Novelty gifts or souvenirs must be
submitted to the Organizing Committee for review before distribution.

6B. No soliciting for business shall be permitted in aisles or in other exhibitors’ booths. Exhibitors may
distribute samples, catalogues, pamphlets, publications, or promotional materials only strictly within
the confines of their own premises. No exhibitor will be permitted to give away premium items, nor to
conduct any prize drawings, awards for signing of names and addresses, or other extreme promotions
without first obtaining written permission from the Organizing Committee.

6C. Advertizing, canvassing, solicitation of business, conference in the interest of business, etc are not
permitted except by firms that have engaged from Organizing Committee space to exhibit, and then only
in the space assigned.

7. Structural work, such as shelving, standards, racks, signs, spotlights, etc, must be approved in
advance by the Organizing Committee’s official contractor.

8. No one under the age of eighteen (18) will be allowed in the exhibit hall during set-up and dismantling.

9. Exhibitors and their representatives who fail to observe these conditions of contract or who, in the
opinion of the Organizing Committee, conduct themselves unethically may be dismissed without refund
or appeal for redress.

10. Before any exhibit may be removed from the building, exhibitors must make arrangements
satisfactory to the Organizing Committee, Organizing Committee official contractors and other vendors,
and Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre for the payment of any charges incurred by the
exhibitor in connection with his or her exhibiting therein.

11. Amendment to Rules: Any and all matters or questions not specifically covered by the preceding
Rules and Regulations and other related documentation shall be subject solely to the discretion of the
Organizing Committee. The foregoing and other relevant regulations have been formulated for the best
interests of all exhibitors; the cooperation of all exhibitors is requested.
