THE COUNCIL FOR AUSTRALASIAN TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY EDUCATION CONFERENCE (CAUTHE 2020)
CAUTHE 2020
The Council of Australasian Tourism and Hospitality Education (CAUTHE) Conference is held every year in
early February. From Monday 10 to Thursday 13 February 2020, the School of Hospitality and Tourism at
Auckland University of Technology (AUT) will host the 30th Annual CAUTHE Conference, CAUTHE 2020.
This is the first time this successful, academic and industry-based international conference will be held in
Auckland, New Zealand. CAUTHE is one of the largest and most prestigious academic conferences for
hospitality and tourism in the Southern Hemisphere. With an expected 200–300 international delegates,
CAUTHE 2020 will provide a significant opportunity to highlight New Zealand’s tourism, hospitality and
events industry as well as AUT’s School of Hospitality and Tourism.

The theme for CAUTHE 2020 is 20:20 Vision: New Perspectives on the Diversity of Hospitality,
Tourism and Events. Our conference embraces the diverse nature of tourism, hospitality and events and
invites the rest of the world to share and celebrate their own diverse perspectives on these domains. The
global nature of these domains offers us all great opportunities to discuss the diversity of business models,
guiding philosophies and approaches to education, training, research and practice within hospitality, tourism
and events.

You and your organisation have a unique opportunity to participate in and contribute to CAUTHE 2020
through a wide range of sponsorship and exhibition options, and unique opportunities to present products
and services to many enthusiastic international conference delegates.

Sponsorship benefits include, but are not limited to:

• Promoting your business profile to existing and potential customers
• Maintaining a high profile in valuable target markets before, during and following the event
• Demonstrating your organisation’s commitment to education and research within the New Zealand
    tourism, hospitality and events industries
• Consolidating corporate relationships and engaging your staff within key markets
• Enabling your organisation’s representatives to mix informally with academics and industry
professionals from global markets including Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Europe and
    Asia
• Facilitating your business to benefit significantly from exposure to an interested, relevant and influential
    audience

We look forward to working closely with you to advance tourism, hospitality and events education and
research. We welcome your participation in welcoming and hosting the delegates attending CAUTHE 2020
in Auckland, New Zealand.

Kind regards,

Dr Tracy Harkison
Dr David Williamson
