Vision
The Inner West Area Sector Support Development and Training Service will provide
training and resources to promote best practice in the delivery of effective and efficient
community care services.
This includes paid staff and volunteers in the Inner West Region:
• Burwood LGA
• Canada Bay LGA
• Inner West Council LGA (Ashfield, Leichhardt and Marrickville)
• Strathfield LGA
• Canterbury/Bankstown Council (Canterbury LGA only)
Mission
The Inner West Sector Support Development and Training Service promotes upskilling and
learning through accessible quality programs which includes training and resources for the
community care sector.
Goals
To identify the education and training needs of all community care paid staff and
volunteers in the Inner West Area.
To provide appropriate training for all community care paid staff and volunteers to
perform their duties with confidence and professionalism.
To provide suitable education and training opportunities to assist IW CHSP staff,
volunteers and students to achieve their personal goals.

Inner West Sector Support Development and Training Service (IWATS) is now offering
online ZOOM and WEBINAR Training.
Please complete the registration form on page 6 and return via email at:
iwats@eccnsw.org.au
Registrations must be recieved at least 2 weeks prior to the training date.
After you have registered, please wait to hear from the The Inner West Sector Support

Enrolments
Priority of access will be given to CHSP funded service providers (Inner West CHSP paid
staff and volunteers) based in the Inner West Region (Ashfield, Burwood, Canterbury,
Canada Bay, Leichhardt, Marrickville and Strathfield areas)
Training Materials & Certificates
Materials will be disseminated to participates a few days prior to training session.
Certificates of attendance will be issued to participants upon completion of the course.
Refunds
Please choose your course carefully. Once registration is confirmed, credits/refunds will
only be made when a course is cancelled by IWATS or notification to withdraw is received 2
weeks in advance.
Cancellations
The Inner West Sector Support Development and Training Officer will attemp to ensure
all courses or individual service training takes place as per scheduled. However, the Inner
West Sector Support Development and Training Officer reserves the right to alter or cancel
the training sessions if required.
