pm. The Brewery donated $1
per pour to the Polio Fund. We
also sold 50:50 tickets. A DJ
was there as well for the first
hour. Much fun was had by all.
Preliminary estimates are that
we made over $700 for the
Polio Fund.

Friendship and Fellowship
On Wednesday, May 11, President MariJo led a fireside chat for our four current prospective members: Joe Sladky, Cara Brown, Margie Conley, Leilani Hartley at our meeting site, First Baptist Church. Members present were MariJo, Peggy, Kahle and Michael.
Other Updates and Reminders
Mother's Day cards were sent out to the area Nursing Homes. Father's
Day is just around the corner and we will need volunteers to send out
cards for that occasion.
May 22 is Shenandoah River Clean Up
Day with Rotary. Please mark your
calendars and notify Michael if you plan
to come so he can reserve a canoe.
Lunch at Robert's party barn following
the clean up. More information to
come.
Rotary T-shirts have arrived.
MariJo has them and will
bring to the River Clean up
and our next club assembly
meeting on May 25

Flag Planting event at E. Wilson Morrison Elementary School with Michael's
Early Act Club on May 26. More information to follow

Next meeting for Youth Services meeting is June 6 at Vibrissa.
Committee approved cards for the Honor Flight – generic thank you cards for
the veterans. We would write the cards or letters at Club Assembly. Debbie
and Tish are point of contact. .
Father's Day Cards will be given out to area Nursing Homes (Tish is point of
contact)
Tuesday’s Table – May 29th (Debbie and Carol will be point of contact)
Club Social: June 11 Pot luck lunch noon to 2pm at Linden Park. We will honor
Herb and June Reinhart with a tree planting. Spirirt awards will also be
distributed. More information to follow.
