FIRE PERFORMANCE
In December 2018 the UK government introduced new legislation in England and Wales to ban the use
of combustible materials including cladding and balcony components on new builds over 18 metres
high, the housing commission are also recommending the removal of ALL combustible materials from
the external façades of buildings. Balconies are, for the first time, counted as part of the external wall;
classified as a “specified attachment”.

The AliDeck interlocking board is a quick fit solution that
locks together to give you a strong, non-combustible
deck platform without drainage. It is made from 100% aluminium, 30% from recycled sources so

This revolutionary Slip Resistant Deck board has been designed to provide a safe and durable solution
to both commercial and domestic applications. Traditionally this market is flooded with both
composite and timber offerings, both of which have been known to cause accidents and injuries
mainly due to lack of maintenance. The Slip Resistant Deck board has been designed to be installed in
conjunction with the AliDeck Supa Joist (see page 19) which makes the system far quicker to install
and promotes even greater longevity.

The AliDeck Supa-Joist is an integral part of the AliDeck System! This clever extrusion is designed
to act as both a support post and big span joist. The connection plates allow for super fast
installation and can be adjusted to suit most applications and conditions. It has also been designed to
be connected together to give additional strength for applications where larger spans are required.

The AliDeck Low Joist is an integral part of the AliDeck System! This extrusion is designed to act a
support and a joist for the junior and big span balcony board specifically on concrete balconies and
terrace areas that require adjustable heights. This joist in designed to work in conjunction with the
AliDeck adjustable pedestal and the rest of the AliDeck deck board range.
All of our spanning criteria has been based
on the standards of EN 1991-1-1-1:2002
“Actions on Structures”.

The AliDeck Lite Joist is an integral part of the AliDeck system! This extrusion has been designed for
installations where you have a very low threshold situation, if you require a minimum build up height
of 50mm or above this is the perfect solution (when used with our 20mm range of boards) This joist
can be used with either our adjustable pedestal brackets or our multi-directional adjustable pedestals
for complete height adjustment.
All of our spanning criteria has been based
