    Online Clubs

As part of its role, the Activities Department of the SLO
is responsible for creating clubs for students. Clubs are a
great way to help develop student’s character and skills that
will benefit them in school, their future careers, and in life.
By joining clubs, students learn commitment, leadership,
effective communication, and how to work successfully in
    a group.

Due to the pandemic, this term all clubs were organized
online. The focus was to work on students’ interpersonal
skills. Which is why prefects insisted on including clubs like
critical thinking, debate, drama, self-care, and show & tell.
Other clubs were directed towards developing students’
artistic sides like drawing, arts & crafts, dancing, photography,
    and chess.

    Online Study Groups

This term, the Academic Department of the SABIS® Student

These online study sessions were designed to help students

Staying Safe Online

Living in the 21st century means living in an ever-expanding
technology driven era. This is the century that has marked
the beginning of the technological singularity.

With the online learning being part of our students’ daily
life and as students are spending more time online,
the Discipline Department of the SABIS® Student Life
Organization took it upon themselves to run a valuable
awareness campaign throughout the term.

The campaign included live online sessions that encouraged
students to speak up in case they were facing cyber bullying
and taught them how to deal with the situation. The department
also ran awareness videos they created during SLO periods
for students throughout all levels.
