Senior Women’s Football is off to a strong preseason
start. We have welcomed some new recruits who not
only brought fresh talent to the team but so much

is still welcoming new players to come down for a kick
and get to know the girls so please contact the club for
more details.

We welcome back former junior and GFL premiership player, Ben McNamara, to the club. A
centre half back with great ball skills who has developed his leadership skills while playing for
St Joseph’s in the GFL and being a listed player for Werribee in the VFL. Check out his player

Along with Ben, the club is thrilled to announce some handy additions on top of our 2019

(ruck) from Eastern Park in the Adelaide Football League, James Darke (midfielder) returning
from overseas, Max Hurley (half forward) returning from interstate and Sam Caruso (small
utility) from Doncaster in the Eastern Football Netball League.

The coaches and players are excited and can’t wait for the season to start. We have 3 practice

THURSDAY NIGHT
DINNERS
With a new season approaching we are
planning how we will continue to offer our
Thursday night dinners in 2021.

We will put a plan in place to ensure the
safety of all members, players and guests
which may mean reduced numbers
allowed and changes to our Food Service.

Watch this space to stay up to date on how
this will work in 2021.

                               MERCHANDISE
At the end of 2019 the club developed and implemented a brand new look for our Torquay Tigers Merchandise.
This was launched early in 2020, but with only a few junior games in 2020 we have not had a chance to show it all
off. If you didn't get a chance to buy yours in 2020 we will have it available again this year.

In addition to our normal supporter merchandise we will have a special 70th year jumper available to purchase in
2021. This will be part of a line of collectible merchandise to celebrate this great milestone!

Player uniforms will also be available to purchase early in 2021, this includes shorts, socks, training tops, hoodies,
                                           Netball dresses and polo tops.

Orders have now closed for the first round of orders but we will open them up again in March! Watch this space.

THANK YOU!
Thank you to all the players, officials, members, sponsors and supporters of the
Torquay CC. Your active involvement during this season and the extra effort and
hard work by everyone in what has been a challenging year, shows dedication and
commitment to your community. As a result of the hard work by many hands, the
season sees us raise the bar at Tiger Land even further. It’s so pleasing to see so
many volunteers continue to put time into the Club and the executive extends its
gratitude to you all. We look forward to seeing what the back end of the season
holds with many of our teams (across all grades) a very real chance of playing
finals cricket.
