A huge thank you to everyone involved
in Ridley Charity Day. It was a wonderful
opportunity for students from Years 6-12
in Ridley to work together to put on a
fun lunch time for the College.
Ridley students had a great time getting
involved, led so beautifully by Olivia
Loobeek, Gimhan Perera, Noah Hallani
and Kavindeep Shoker, and there was
an air of excitement and joy around.
In the end, we raised just
under $1700 for Mama Lana’s

Entry to Notre Dame is by direct application rather than via Careers Advisor

The Vine - Issue No 8, 2019Inaugural College Book Week The Primary School celebrated our inaugural College Book Week, alongside National Simultaneous Storytime. It was fantastic to see parents and carers watching on as our staff and students dressed to the nines as their favourite book characters! We had Alpacas with Maracas leading the Parade; a Fairy, Pippi Longstocking, and Florette (a plant) judging the costumes; and a whole host of interesting characters parading around to music. It was a real celebration of reading and we thank parents and carers for piecing together some wonderful costumes. We handed out book voucher prizes for Most Original costumes and Best Dressed costumes, with Mrs Coleman and Miss McCarry winning the staff awards. This was quite a challenge as there were many amazing costumes on display! Mr Pullen also announced some extra incentive for the Premier’s Reading Challenge, offering to dress up as a superhero if we have over 200 students complete the challenge by August. Mrs Kennedy will join him if 250 students complete the challenge, and Mrs Grima will join in too if we have over 300 students complete the challenge!
