An entertaining Treasure Hunt - Quiz-Walk has been
devised as part of Sandbach Walking Festival. The
special quiz comprises a walking route around
Sandbach Town, described in rhyming couplets with
questions at each of the places of interest.
Keith and Jenny Haines, who devised the Quiz-
Walk, explained “Everyone, old and young can take
part, in their own time, walking at their own pace. A
luxury hamper of goodies kindly provided by Godfrey
Williams & Son, is the prize for the winning score (or for
equal scores, drawn from a hat). Entry sheets (£2 each) are available from Godfrey
Williams. Completed answer sheets should be handed in by 5th July at Godfrey
Williams, to any walk leader during the Festival, or dropped off or posted to Keith/Jenny
Haines, 25 Tatton Drive, Sandbach, CW11 1DZ. The draw and prize announcement will be
made on 7th July, 6pm at the Market Tavern, Market Square, Sandbach.”
