The 2-day course will provide members of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) in the
Public and Industrial premises with Fire Safety Manager and store less than 5 metric tonnes of
Petroleum and Flammable materials with the essential knowledge and application skills to function
as a member of an emergency response team. It equips the team to implement the emergency
response skills during an emergency incident in buildings. This training covers basic firefighting,
rescue techniques and procedures as a CERT member that can be utilised during an emergency.

The 1-day course will provide members of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) in
the Public and Industrial premises (without or store below the exemption quantity of petroleum
and flammable material) with the essential knowledge and application skills to function as a
member of an emergency response team. It equips the team to implement the emergency
response skills during a minor fire incident at their workplace. This training covers basic
firefighting and procedures as a CERT member for workplaces that can be utilised during an
emergency.

    Course Overview
    Site Main Controller (SMC) is the senior member of the company’s management and will be the overall person
    -in-charge of emergency response operations in the company during an emergency. SMC will also deal with
    the government agencies during the event. In order to do that, SMC needs the skills to conduct Incident Man-
    agement. These sets of skills can consist of appreciation of situation, emergency scene management, devel-
    oping Contingency Planning (CP) for High Risk Installations, understanding the SCDF Incident Management
    System and managing information management during emergencies.

    Aim of This Course
    This comprehensive training will equip the participants the foundational knowledge and skills
    to handle the major responsibilities of a SMC, in the event of an emergency. The training is       Registration:

    adapted to the Singapore context. All participants will have in-depth training on incident
    management and practical practice through scenarios based exercises.
