The Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Health has a variety of day trips and extended trips planned for
2021-22! Please contact Adina McCollough if you have any questions about these trips or suggestions for future trips.

Trip Registration Information
3 Ways to Register for Trips:
1. Register at the Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Health,
350 Victory Dr., Park Forest, IL 60466 (Village Hall).
2. Call the Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Health at
708-748-2005 to register over the phone with a credit card.
3. Register online at : https://apm.activecommunities.com/vopf
Trip return times are approximate and may change due to unforeseen circumstances and traffic. In the event of low
enrollment, a luxury passenger van may be substituted for a motor coach bus.
Refunds - Refunds for trips may vary due to non-refundable tickets or fees. Refund requests made prior to the trip
registration deadline will be given less a 5% refund fee. Online registration fees are non-refundable.
Cancellations made by Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Health are not subject to the 5% refund fee.
Refunds for purchases made by cash, check or charge are processed with a check (within ten business days) through the
Village of Park Forest Finance Department.
Diamond Tour Trips ar e non-refundable. Trip insurance is available for an additional fee. On-line registration is not
available for Diamond Tours. Please register at the Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Health.

Cash, Conway & Brooks Legends (Starved Rock State Park)
Join us for a trip to the past for the best of Classic Country with hits from
decades long gone. Songs and artists that made you fall in love with country
music, Jeff Gordon’s performance will highlight hits from Johnny Cash,

•All program registra on is on a first-come, first-served basis. A registra on form is provided on the last page of this
booklet. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any program or ac vity due to inclement weather or low enrollment.
•IN-PERSON registra on will be accepted at the Department of Recrea on, Parks & Community Health (Village Hall), 350
Victory Drive, Park Forest, IL 60466 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, and 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday evening.
•ONLINE REGISTRATION -Available any me, at h ps://apm.ac vecommuni es.com/vopf/. Create your online account
today at h ps://apm.ac vecommuni es.com/vopf/Create_Account. Please note: some programs will not be available for
online registra on. Online registra on fees are non-refundable.
•PHONE registra on will be accepted over the phone with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express)
by calling the Department of Recrea on, Parks & Community Health at 708-748-2005 during normal business hours.
•MAIL-IN/DROP BOX registra on will be accepted for programs unless otherwise listed. Drop box is located outside Village
Hall. You will be contacted only if we cannot process your registra on due to cancelled or filled classes.
•Before par cipa ng in any program or event sponsored by the Department of Recrea on, Parks & Community Health a
waiver must be signed by the par cipant or responsible parent/guardian. Waiver form is available at the Department of
Recrea on, Parks & Community Health or on our website at www.villageofparkforest.com.
•Payment op ons are cash, money order, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) and checks
(payable to “Village of Park Forest”). Registra ons and payments are processed through Ac ve Network, LLC. Returned
checks and denied charges (chargebacks) will be charged a $35 fee. Accounts sent to collec ons are charged an addi onal
35% of the total amount due.
•Wai ng List - A wai ng list will be created when a program/trip has been filled. We will contact you when a space
becomes available.
•Refunds - For refundable programs, refund requests made prior to the start date of a program will be given less a 5%
refund fee. Refunds for trips may vary due to non-refundable ckets or fees. Refund requests made prior to the trip
registra on deadline will be given less a 5% refund fee. Cancella ons made by Department of Recrea on, Parks &
Community Health are not subject to the 5% refund fee. Online registra on processing fees are non-refundable. Refunds
may be processed as a household credit or a check through the Village of Park Forest Finance Department. Please allow 10
business days for refund by check.
•Cancella ons - If there is insufficient enrollment, the Department of Recrea on, Parks & Community Health reserves the
right to cancel any program/trip. You will receive no fica on of cancella on. Cancella ons made by Department of
Recrea on, Parks & Community Health are not subject to the 5% refund fee. Online registra on processing fees are
non-refundable.
•No person otherwise qualified will be denied the opportunity to par cipate in a fee program because of inability to pay.
