conservation laboratory to witness meticulous restoration work firsthand, and delight in a rare, in-depth tour of a
famous auction house to learn about the art of assembling, selling, and curating a collection.
Begin with a private tour and special reception at the Museum of the City of New York, with its beautifully
curated exhibitions documenting the city’s history and character. Delve into sublime works by artists of African
descent at the Studio Museum in Harlem, and meet exhibitors at Soho’s groundbreaking Drawing Center.
In an exclusive, before-hours visit, browse the Klimt collection at the Neue Galerie New York. Conclude with a
curator-led, behind-the-scenes tour of the most famous New York museum of them all, The Metropolitan Museum

Go behind the scenes of a famous auction house for a rare
insider’s view of its daily operations. Head downtown to the
Judd Foundation, where you will wander among Donald
Judd’s installations of artworks, furniture, and decorative
objects. Meet with exhibitors at the nearby Drawing Center,
an art space focusing exclusively on drawings, both historical
and contemporary. Later this afternoon, visit a local gallery and
meet with a local artist. The evening is free for you to explore
