keys. Reading glasses. It’s frustrating and can throw a real
kink in your day. But when that something is a $40,000 piece
of construction equipment needed to help you run your
business, it’s a little different.

Theft accounts for more loss for construction fleet managers
than any other risk. A recent DEWALT study found that a
staggering 97% of construction professionals surveyed are
concerned about jobsite security. Even more alarming, a
whopping 77% have experienced theft up to five times per
year for the last three years. Half of those surveyed have
been victims of theft as recently as the last 12 months. Theft
