Vacation Care Program
December 2019 – January 2020
Program times
Service times will be from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The program officially starts at 9:00 am and finishes at 3:00 pm.
Drop-off & pick-up
Please see bus departure and arrival times for each excursion day to ensure your child doesn’t miss
the bus and you don’t arrive too early to collect them.
What to wear and bring
Children are to bring their morning tea, lunch, water bottle and hat (raincoats on excursion days)
Please make sure your children have enclosed rubber-soled shoes, otherwise they may not be able to
participate in majority of the activities offered throughout the program.
Terms and Conditions
There are no cancellations, refunds, credits or transfers for vacation care bookings.
All other BHOOSH terms and conditions apply.

Morning session: 7:00 am – 9:00 am
Usual sign-in, breakfast is provided and activities as per before school care.
Please check bus departure times for each excursion day to ensure your child doesn’t miss the bus.
Bus departure and arrival times for each excursion day will be sent to parents by email.
Day session: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Vacation care activities and workshops.
Please refer to the timetable for more details.
Afternoon session: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Afternoon tea is provided at 3 pm.
Usual sign-out and activities as per after school care.

Pricing: per child per day
Incursions: $65.00
December 2019: Thursday 20th
January 2020: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Excursions: $75.00
SPECIAL Friday 20th December BHOOSH Christmas Party is $60 flat rate
January 2020: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Child Care Subsidy is payable on vacation care fees for eligible families
Early-bird special
If you book by Wednesday 4th December, you will receive $5 off those bookings!

Excursions: $70.00
How to book
• Login into your KIDSXAP account either through the app or website.
(If you do not know your login, please email info@bhoosh.com.au.)
• Select Attendance/Bookings, click the large + in the bottom right corner.
• Select ‘Vacation Care’, enter your child’s year at school and confirm the booking.
(All ‘families arrangement’ type will be CWA unless other specified by BHOOSH.)

THURSDAY 19/12/19 INCURSION – NO LIMITS SPORTS
MIX AND MATCH SPORT PROGRAM
10 am – 1 pm
To kick off vacation care, the BHOOSH students will be
able to release all of their energy with a day full of
sports and participate in a variety of games. Children
will have the opportunity to choose from popular
sports – whichever one they would like to practice.
FRIDAY 20/12/19 EXCURSION – KIRINBELL FARM
BHOOSH CHRISTMAS PARTY
10 am – 2 pm
Back to one of our favourite locations for a day out.
Our first excursion will be a Christmas-themed fun day,
full of treasure hunts, water slides, Christmas games,
and maybe an appearance from the Big Man himself!
And of course, a BBQ.

MONDAY 6/01/20 INCURSION – MIDORI FURZE ARTIST
JAPANESE ORIGAMI & CALLIGRAPHY
10 am – 12 pm
A wonderful welcome to the new year with a beautiful
incursion, learning about Japanese culture from a
Japanese artist based in Sydney. Children will make
origami bookmarks with their own names in Kanji.
They will use typical Japanese calligraphy pens to
write their names in Japanese and create lovely gifts.
TUESDAY 7/01/20 EXCURSION – QUARANTINE STATION
GUIDED TOUR & BEACH PICNIC
10:30 am – 2 pm
A step back in time to the Manly Quarantine Station,
immersing ourselves into life 100 years ago with
interactive tours and hands-on experience for a full
adventure day. We will end our excursion with a picnic
lunch at the beach to top it off.
WEDNESDAY 8/01/20 INCURSION – BHOOSH GETS GREEN
PLANTING THE BHOOSH GARDEN
10 am – 12 pm
One of the most loved activities from the last vacation
care was planting a garden, so get those green
thumbs ready! Today we will be doing all things
garden-based, creating and planting our own new
garden area at BHOOSH.

THURSDAY 9/01/20 EXCURSION – MANLY SURF & SLIDE
WATER PARK FUN DAY
10:30 am – 12:30 pm
Hope you’ve got your swimmers ready, because you
are going to need them! We’re off for a fun-filled day
out at Manly Surf and Slide. Ride the twisted cobra,
dare the slippery python or slither in the blackened
tube of the earthworm with all of us.

INVASION AND EVASION GAMES
10 am – 1 pm
Our favourite sports incursion providers are back with
some amazing group games and team building
Invasion and Evasion games. Learn how to work
together as a team having fun to win the BHOOSH
sports day!
MONDAY 13/01/20 INCURSION – BRICKS4KIDZ
JURASSIC BRICKS PROGRAM
10 am – 12 pm
Are you ready for an adventure? Put on your hiking
boots and camouflage ... you are about to enter
Jurassic Brick Park! Build Lego® dinosaurs that come
to life. We hope you’ve got your creative building hats
on today to be part of creating a dino-inspired Lego
build.

TUESDAY 14/01/20 EXCURSION – HOYTS CINEMA
THE ADDAMS FAMILY
10 am – 1:30 pm
Another day out. This time we will visit the cinema at
the Hoyts Entertainment Quarter Showground.
We’re off to the city to eat some popcorn and enjoy
the big screen to watch the newest animation of our
favourite kooky family … THE ADDAMS FAMILY.
WEDNESDAY 15/01/20 INCURSION – WILD IMAGINATION
NATURE CLAY CREATIONS
10 am – 12 pm
A step into the wild … using our treasured WILD
IMAGINATION BOOK we will inspire children to get wild
with their mind and use this as a source of creativity.
We are going to make clay creations using natural
materials and exploring the surrounding areas to get
inspirations.
THURSDAY 16/01/20 EXCURSION – AUSTRALIAN BOTANIC
GARDEN MOUNT ANNAN
WATER WORLD SCIENCE
10:30 am – 12:30 pm
Summertime ... let’s find out about the cool science
behind our water. What better way to investigate who
lives in our ponds and how to make our own clean
water if we were stuck in the bush or the desert. And
of course, there will be lots of games!

FRIDAY 17/01/20 INCURSION – NO LIMITS SPORTS
TRADITIONAL INDIGENOUS GAMES
10 am – 1 pm
Fun fun fun … here we go again with our sports
buddies. This time we are going play the best games
and activities from Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander societies around Australia. These games
provide an opportunity to learn about, appreciate and
experience aspects of Indigenous culture.
MONDAY 20/01/20 INCURSION – NO LIMITS SPORTS
DANCE CLASSES
10 am – 1 pm
Everyone LOVES to DANCE, so today we will be having
an interactive dance session to get those feet moving
and learning some new moves to pull out on the
dance floor. Put your best dress on and come here to
enjoy a day full of MUSIC, DANCE and LOVE!
TUESDAY 21/01/20 EXCURSION – MARITIME MUSEUM
THE SEA MONSTERS EXIBITION
10 am – 2 pm
While dinosaurs ruled the land, giant reptiles and
sharks hunted the depths. Come and explore with us
to find out how incredible these sea monsters were.
DO NOT MISS this amazing day out discovering the
secrets of the ocean!

WEDNESDAY 22/01/20 INCURSION – PARTY HIGHER
SILENT DISCO PARTY
10:30 am – 12 pm
With the dance moves you learnt earlier in the week,
come along to show them off during this innovative
party. The Silent Disco is a fun-packed incursion with
interactive games and activities, everyone will receive
their headphones to listen to the music and have fun
with us!
THURSDAY 23/01/20 EXCURSION – ARCHIE BROTHERS
ARCADE PLAY DAY
12:00 pm – 2 pm
Feeling lucky? Try your luck with the latest arcade
games at the Archie Brothers arcade house.
You choose the game, swipe your card any time you
want during the afternoon and make sure you are
having fun with your friends.
FRIDAY 24/01/20 INCURSION – BHOOSH CARNIVAL
BHOOSH CARNIVAL PARTY
10 am – 2 pm
It’s party time again!
What better way to finish off the week than with a
Summer carnival, with dressing up, face & body
painting, craft activities, dancing and lots of fun
carnival games. You will not be able to stop smiling all
day!

TUESDAY 28/01/20 INCURSION – MUTTLEY CREW
DOG SHOW
1:30 pm – 3 pm
For those dog lovers out there, we have a spectacular
show fill with fun and information about canines. With
interactive dog demonstrations and dog play sessions,
children will have the opportunity to learn how to act
safely and behave around dogs.
