GENERAL INFORMATION A FEW REMINDERS PARKING PERMITS FOR JACK LAYTON, DOG BAN AT SANDY BEACH AND SURROUNDING TRAILS: WHARF ROAD, BEACH ROAD, AND THE From May 1st to October 1st, dogs are prohibited in Sandy Beach COMMUNITY CENTRE ARE NOW REQUIRED Park from 9 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week. USE OF PESTICIDES If you are considering spraying pesticides on your land, note that By-law 739 on the control of pesticides prohibits their use throughout the territory except for certain exceptions such as cases of infestation, security, public health, or prevention reasons. Anyone wishing to use pesticides on their land must apply for a permit and ensure that the conditions outlined in By-law 739 are met, otherwise they are liable to penalties. For more information, go to www.hudson.quebec RAGWEED For information about the harmful effects of ragweed, go to: LAWN WATERING www.hudson.quebec By-law 723 governs the use of drinking water produced by the municipal water system. Lawn watering is restricted based on address and type of watering system. If you have: • An automatic watering system, you are permitted to water your lawn only from 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., on the day corresponding to your address (see table below). • A mechanical watering system, you are permitted to water your lawn only from 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., on the day corresponding to your address (see table below). Minimum registration required for all programs. REFUND POLICY After the first 2 weeks of programs, refunds will be given only with a medical note. Refunded amounts will be calculated from the day of cancellation, and there will be a $25.00 administration fee deducted from the refunded amount. We charge a $35.00 fee for returned or cancelled cheques.
