PREFACE
We are proud to present the Eurest Catering banqueting folder for the
period from January 1, 2021 to August 1, 2021. This folder has been adapted
to the current situation. We make packed lunches to avoid mutual contact
and we send different types of boxes to home addresses. Inspiring
people and creating moments of happiness, that is our mission! With
delicious and personalized food and drinks, we ensure the ultimate
experience.
PACKAGES OR BUILD YOURSELF
This banqueting folder will give you an impression of the possibilities.
You can choose an arrangement or put together the order yourself. You
will also gain insight into the costs associated with a choice. The
minimum order quantity is stated with the packages and other products.
We offer high quality products.
CUSTOMIZED SERVICE
As a caterer, we know better than anyone that service is required
regularly on an ad hoc basis. We always do our utmost to execute the
orders completely in accordance with the wishes. When compiling this
banqueting folder, we have assumed a high degree of self-service in
terms of service level. If a different service level is required, please
contact the Eurest Banqueting department. We are happy to propose a
tailor-made proposal.
SUSTAINABLE
Eurest makes clear and responsible choices when it comes to local,
biological and environment. Better Life (meat), Dutch soil (fruit and
vegetables), and UTZ fair trade (coffee and tea) are important guidelines
in our range. We limit food waste and are flexible in accepting and
canceling arrangements.

COFFEE- AND TEA ARRANGEMENTS
Arrangements are coffee & tea combinations that we have already put together.
An arrangement is possible from 4 persons. When composing yourself, you can
determine your order yourself. There is a minimum purchase for most products.
This is stated with the product. If you want to order an extra item with an
arrangement, there is no minimum purchase. The prices for an arrangement are
prices per person.

Arrangements are lunch combinations that we have already put together and are
in great demand. The minimum purchase for an arrangement is 4 people. All
prices are prices per person. We offer the packages vegetarian, but also with
meat.

There is a possibility to put together your own lunch. We can supply the pistolets
in multigrain or white. If there are specific wishes, this can be indicated in the
comments field on the order site, even if these concern dietary requirements. We
supply the pistolets from 4 pieces and croquette rolls from 8 pieces. Prices are
per sandwich. We have several vegetarian options, but you can also choose out of
fish and meat fillings.

DRINK ARRANGEMENTS
Arrangements are combinations we have already put together and are often
requested. The minimum purchase for an arrangement is 15 or 25 people. There is
a minimum purchase for most products. This is stated with the product. If you
want to order an extra item with an arrangement, there is no minimum order
value. The drink packages are based on subsequent costing. The actual
consumption is calculated afterwards. The prices are prices per person.

Meals are freshly prepared in our kitchen. Meals can be ordered from Monday to
Friday. We can deliver the meals to the location of your choice.

SERVICE
As a caterer, we know better than anyone that services are regularly
required on an ad hoc basis. We always do our utmost to make the
reservation entirely in accordance with your wishes.
In compiling this banqueting folder, we have assumed a high degree of
self-service in terms of service level. If a different service level is
required, you can contact the banqueting manager on location. Our
catering manager will be happy to put together a tailor-made proposal
for you.

ORDERING SYSTEM
Employees of the VU University and the associated departments can
order catering via the banqueting order site. This is our online ordering
system: https://www.bestellenbijeurest.nl/vu.
It goes without saying that we receive your order as early as possible so
that we can guarantee a high service level on the one hand, and on the
other hand, so that we can plan and purchase better.
ORDER TERMS
In order to guarantee a good service, we ask you to use the following
terms until 12am the day before:
Applications without service
Requests up to 50 people with food
Requests up to 100 people without food
For all other requests, we ask you to take into account a period of
5 working days. Of course it may happen that you cannot comply with
these terms, in that case please contact us as early as possible so that we
can jointly see what we can do for you.
15PROCEDURES & CONDITIONS
MODIFY
The number of guests can be changed up to 3 hours before the start of
the meeting with a maximum change of 10%.
CANCEL
Canceling an order is free of charge until 12am the day before the meeting.
Custom orders can be canceled free of charge up to 2 working days
before the meeting. We are obliged to charge costs incurred for products
or services that cannot be used in any other way. We make these costs
transparent.
CUSTOM MADE
Custom requests can be submitted up to 5 working days prior to the
meeting. Many events take place at VU University Amsterdam, we provide
catering for conferences, diplomas, receptions, open days, parents'
evenings and party evenings.
As in-house caterer of the VU University Amsterdam, we are very
familiar with the specific wishes surrounding these events and we can
provide the catering. In addition to the products in this folder, we also
offer customized catering products, please contact the Eurest Banqueting
department. Would you like to organize a major event at the Vrije
Universiteit? Then you can contact the Events department of the VU, they
can help you with all facility matters such as room rental, cleaning,
audiovisual technology and of course catering.
OPENING HOURS
We deliver all our packages from Monday to Friday between 8am and
9pm. Orders before or after opening hours and on Saturdays and
Sundays will incur additional costs. Orders on Saturday and Sunday are
always in consultation and must be requested at least 5 working days in
advance.

MORE OR LESS GUESTS THAN EXPECTED?
Many of our products are priced per person. We always deliver on the
basis of the number of guests specified by you. In the unlikely event that
more guests are present, please let us know in time. If we find that there
are more guests present than stated, we will adjust the invoice
accordingly.
MATERIALS
All orders are delivered with crockery, with the exception of orders in the
transitorium, church hall and lecture halls. We supply these with durable
disposable tableware. The packed lunches are delivered in bags and
packaging material made of sustainable material. Many of our products
come with materials or returnable bottles. These will be returned. If
materials or bottles are missing, they will be included as a defect. If these
are not returned within one week, they will be charged. When materials
contain damage, they are recognized as breakage and charged.
17PROCEDURES & CONDITIONS
DELIVERY TIMES
We deliver orders between 10 minutes prior to the order time and the
order time. We collect as much as possible at the time specified by you. If
the order has to be picked up after 6pm in the evening, we will deliver a
lockable container with the order and collect the order the next morning
before 8.30am. We deliver to all locations in the buildings of the VU
University. In the church hall in the main building it is only possible to
deliver at extra delivery costs and with disposable tableware.
SEASON PRODUCTS
On the website we regularly place "specials" around holidays such as
Sinterklaas, Christmas, Easter and seasonal products such as dishes with
asparagus, pumpkin or strawberries. Therefore, keep an eye on the
website!
ALLERGENS
Together with our suppliers, we make every effort to serve you safe,
healthy and tasty products. Eurest strives for a "zero tolerance" with
regard to allergens. Unfortunately, we cannot rule out possible cross-
contamination and incomplete information from us and our suppliers. For
questions about allergens in freshly prepared products, please contact
one of our employees. All of our packaged
products have allergen information.
TIPS AND IMPROVEMENTS
We strive to continuously improve our quality. If you have any tips for
improving our services or if you are not satisfied with the service or
quality provided, please let us know.
