We are happy to announce that volunteer sign-up is strong and we’re looking
forward to working together with you on the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in
January, 2018. We’re not full yet – with several committees needing people!
Let your family, friends, and neighbours know about this amazing volunteering

the province to participate, and
the attendees were excited that
the Scotties Tournament of Hearts
is coming in January!! Meet Stu

So, what’s next? The tournament is still a few months away, but here’s some
important volunteer information to familiarize yourself with.
Volunteer Kit
Once we’ve set a date, we will contact
you to pick up your volunteer kit. Your kit
includes your volunteer pin, accreditation
pass, volunteer handbook, and volunteer
uniform. There will be more information
about this in upcoming newsletters.
Attend the 2018 Scotties
Tournament of Hearts
Once you’ve received your volunteer kit,
the final step is volunteering at the event!
You will receive your volunteer schedule
prior to the event, with all of the shifts that
you are assigned. Remember that upon
signing up, volunteers make a
commitment of 30 hours and may be
scheduled for up to that amoun.
If you have scheduling restrictions or
preferences, it is important to let your
director know before they begin
scheduling. Directors will be announced
in the fall.
