What makes SOLO lawnmowers so unique? 40
SOLO was the first to produce a rotary mower.
Today, our product range comprises quiet electric
mowers, convenient petrol mowers with electric
start and rear wheel drive, and even a powerful
mower for professional use with aluminium
diecast deck for use in particularly arduous
conditions as well as comfortable lawn tractors
that make easy work of even the largest lawns.
No surprise then that, in consumer tests, SOLO is
always near the top.

Decision-making aids
How large is your lawn?
Answering this question is the first important criterion in
reaching your decision as to which lawnmower suits
you best?
Our light-weight and agile lawnmower models offer
themselves for smaller and medium-sized lawns
up to 800 m2.
Mowers with greater cutting widths, self-drive and extensive
accessories offer benefits for lawns up to 3 000 m2.
Petrol or electric?
Do you have a lawn of not more than 800m2 without too
many obstacles for an electric mower and the power
supply is handy?
In that case the light and compact SOLO electric mowers
offer themselves as an alternative to petrol mowers.
Electric mowers are a little quieter and mow without giving
off exhaust fumes.
Should your lawns be somewhat larger and feature
obstacles, then one of our range of powerful petrol mowers
will undoubtedly hit the mark. Without having to consider
cables and power supply, they can manage rather
larger areas.
Collecting or mulching?
All lawnmowers in the SOLO range with rear discharge
are equipped with collector bags with generous capacity.
Assisted by the SOLO Aeromatic system, the grass
collector is filled to the brim – even when the grass is a
little damp.
Select a mulching kit if you want to treat your lawn by
returning some natural nutrients into the grass.
Many models can be turned into a mulching mower with
this conversion kit. The discharge chute is closed off, and
special mulching blades are used when lawnmowers are
operated without a grass collector. The finely chopped
grass falls back onto the lawn – no need to dispose
of cuttings.
