Both associations are dedicated to managing responsible, environmentally-friendly and safe tourism in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. As a member, Scenic Eclipse operations in these sensitive environmental areas will be carried out to these strict environmental standards.
General Packing Guide
When travelling as a couple, pack each suitcase with day and evening clothing for each person,
so if one of your cases becomes misplaced, you will still have clothes to wear as needed.
Ensure that your personal and tour details are written on a label inside each suitcase, including your
name, address, telephone number, departure and return flight details. On the labels on the outside of your
suitcase, only mention your name and destination.
Always pack your own suitcase and do not volunteer to carry items packed by someone else.
Never accept packages or articles from anyone unknown to you to carry on board the aircraft.
Check-in only your own suitcases.

Remember to protect your extremities with a hat, neck gaiter and gloves, and use sunscreen, lip balm and sunglasses to protect from sun and wind burn. Below is a simple guide to layering clothing to stay warm: BASE LAYER Fibres that insulate and wick moisture such as polypropylene, merino wool, and other synthetics are recommended – but not cotton or denim. We recommend that you pack two full sets of base layer, tops and bottoms. Breathable, lightweight tops and bottoms provide warmth without the bulk. INSULATION LAYER The insulation layer is lightweight and traps body heat. Examples include a good quality polar fleece or lightweight loft jacket or vest. Lighter and heavier garments that can be worn alone or in combination allow for greater flexibility and maximum warmth when needed. OUTER LAYER Outer layers are usually a waterproof and breathable barrier against the elements, such as a lightweight insulated jacket, compressible and very warm.
