Jorge Thompson was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and graduated in the summer of 2017
with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at El Paso. Prior to
joining Professional and Public Programs as a Youth Coordinator, Jorge worked as a program
coordinator for GEAR UP and Communities in Schools serving students at Montana Vista
Elementary and Riverside High School. He also served with AmeriCorps for a nonprofit called
