th
Frederick's “Best Festival/Event” two years running,
a title we are very proud of, due to the loyal community
support which makes the Fair possible.
This year's theme: "moooving forward" fun for the whole herd
The Great Frederick Fair is the agricultural heart of
Frederick County, a community gathering for socializing
and a place for exhibitors to showcase and share their
success. Over 18,000 exhibits, a majority of which are by
4-H and FFA youth, volunteers, sponsors, employees and
concessionaires. Nearly 250,000 visitors pass through the
fairgrounds annually during our nine day event.
The Fair industry is constantly "moooving forward" and
looking ahead to the future... what will the Fair look, feel,
taste, smell like? 10, 20 even 50 years from now? We work
hand-in-hand with FCPS to expand and improve our hands-
on agricultural education progams. There are always new, Member of
exciting activities at our agriculture/livestock stops around
the grounds for all, from over 5,000 school kids visiting on
guided field trips to fair guests off all ages.
With a fun-filled carnival, buildings full of exciting
agricultural & livestock exhibits, a wide range of food
vendors and a variety of grandstand entertainment, we
continue "moooving forward" and expanding your
choices. This year choose from motor sports, country
music, classic rock, christian music, and this year... Follow Us:
a night of family friendly entertainment!
I am excited to invite you to enjoy the thrill of a lifetime
in a very safe environment here at the Great Frederick Fair!
