CALL TO WORSHIP !
 The Lord Jesus who calls us to worship him today
 is the same Jesus who endured the shame of the cross,
 and today is Lord of lords and King of kings.
 So with the saints of all ages we say,
 "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
 to receive power and wealth and wisdom
 and strength and honour and glory and praise!”

THE LORD IS MY SALVATION
 The grace of God has reached for me In times of waiting, times of need
 And pulled me from the raging sea When I know loss, when I am weak
 And I am safe on this solid ground I know His grace will renew these days
 The Lord is my salvation The Lord is my salvation
 I will not fear when darkness falls Chorus
 His strength will help me scale these walls
                                                  And when I reach my final day
 I'll see the dawn of the rising sun
                                                  He will not leave me in the grave
 The Lord is my salvation
                                                  But I will rise,
 Chorus He will call me home
 Who is like the Lord our God? The Lord is my salvation
 Strong to save, faithful in love
                                                  Chorus
 My debt is paid and the vict'ry won
 The Lord is my salvation Glory be to God the Father
                                                  Glory be to God the Son
 My hope is hidden in the Lord
                                                  Glory be to God the Spirit
 He flow'rs each promise of His Word
                                                  The Lord is our salvation
 When winter fades I know spring will come
 The Lord is my salvation Chorus

                                                                Jonas Myrin, Keith Getty, Kristin Getty, Nathan Nockels

CONFESSION
 Father, we are sorry for the many times we have left you
 and chosen to satisfy our own selfish desires.
 For the times we have hurt those close to us
 because we did what we should not, or did not do what we should.
 Father, we have sinned. Forgive us.
 For the times we were unkind and impatient
 with those who needed our time and concern.
 Father, we have sinned. Forgive us.
 For the times we were too weak to stand up for what was right
 and allowed others to suffer because of our cowardice.
 Father, we have sinned. Forgive us.
 For the times we refused to forgive others.
 Father, we have sinned. Forgive us.

SCRIPTURAL ASSURANCE OF PARDON
 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast
 love. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger for ever. He does not
 deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities.
                                                               Scripture Reference: Psalm 103:8-10

PRAYER OF PRAISE

                                        5
CHRIST THE SURE AND STEADY ANCHOR
 Christ the sure and steady anchor Christ the sure and steady anchor
 In the fury of the storm Through the floods of unbelief
 When the winds of doubt blow Hopeless somehow O my soul now
 through me Lift your eyes to Calvary
 And my sails have all been torn This my ballast of assurance
 In the suffering in the sorrow See His love forever proved
 When my sinking hopes are few All my hope is in the anchor
 I will hold fast to the anchor It shall never be removed
 It shall never be removed

 Christ the sure and steady anchor Christ the sure and steady anchor
 While the tempest rages on As we face the wave of death
 When temptation claims the battle When these trials give way to glory
 And it seems the night has won As we draw our final breath
 Deeper still then goes the anchor We will cross that great horizon
 Though I justly stand accused Clouds behind and life secured
 I will hold fast to the anchor And the calm will be the better
 It shall never be removed For the storms that we endured

                                                  Christ the shore of our salvation
                                                  Ever faithful ever true
                                                  We will hold fast to the anchor
                                                  It shall never be removed

O THE DEEP DEEP LOVE OF JESUS
 O the deep, deep love of Jesus Chorus
 Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free
 Rolling as a mighty ocean O the deep, deep love of Jesus
 In its fullness over me Far surpassing all the rest
 Underneath me, all around me It’s an ocean full of blessing
 Is the current of Your love In the midst of every test
 Leading onward, leading O the deep, deep love of Jesus
 homeward                                         Mighty Saviour, precious Friend
 To Your glorious rest above You will bring us home to glory
                                                  Where Your love will never end
 Chorus
 O the deep, deep love Chorus

 O the deep, deep love of Jesus
 Spread His praise from shore to
 shore
 How He came to pay our ransom
 Through the saving cross He bore
 How He watches o’er His loved
 ones
 Those He died to make His own
 How for them He’s interceding
 Pleading now before the throne

SERMON NOTES
   Such Were Some of You
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (page 955)

              8
THERE IS A FOUNTAIN FILLED WITH BLOOD
 There is a fountain filled with blood
 drawn from Emmanuel’s veins;
 and sinners plunged beneath that flood
 lose all their guilty stains.

 The dying thief rejoiced to see
 that fountain in his day;
 and there may I, though vile as he,
 wash all my sins away.

 Dear dying Lamb, thy precious blood
 shall never lose its power
 till all the ransomed church of God
 be saved, to sin no more.

 E’er since, by faith, I saw the stream
 thy flowing wounds supply,
 redeeming love has been my theme,
 and shall be till I die.

 When this poor lisping, stammering tongue
 lies silent in the grave
 then in a nobler, sweeter song,
 I’ll sing thy power to save.
                                              William Cowper 1731-1800

THE LORD’S SUPPER

                                          9
HE WILL HOLD ME FAST
 When I fear my faith will fail, For my life He bled and died,
 Christ will hold me fast;                   Christ will hold me fast;
 When the tempter would prevail,             Justice has been satisfied;
 He will hold me fast. He will hold me fast.
 I could never keep my hold Raised with Him to endless life,
 Through life’s fearful path; He will hold me fast
 For my love is often cold; Till our faith is turned to sight,
 He must hold me fast. When He comes at last!

 Chorus                                      Chorus
 He will hold me fast,
 He will hold me fast;
 For my Saviour loves me so,
 He will hold me fast.

 Those He saves are His delight,
 Christ will hold me fast;
 Precious in his holy sight,
 He will hold me fast.
 He’ll not let my soul be lost;
 His promises shall last;
 Bought by Him at such a cost,
 He will hold me fast.
 Chorus

 Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus,
 the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you
 with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is
 pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.
 Amen.
