2018 Winter Netball Season Information
Registrations:
• Players, Officials and Volunteers must register with their clubs via MyNetball. We
have attached a “MyNetball” Cheat Sheet to help you.
• We will be running MyNetball training days if you would like to attend – email
sdna@sdna.com.au
• Training MyNetball Days:
• Wednesday 7th February 2018 & Saturday 10th February 2018
• Please email us when your MyNetball procedures are completed and we will print
the Registration and Grading Reports off for you.
• All this needs to be completed by Monday 12th March 2018.
• All of this is information is on our website – www.sdna.com.au
• ENTITY Teams – If you are a 1 team club that is entering at SDNA for the first time
you can complete an Entity Team Registration Form which is attached by Monday
12th March 2018.
• CLUBS & ENTITY TEAMS – You must complete the following paperwork, please scan
and email to us at sdna@sdna.com.au
- 2018 Membership Summary Form (attached) by Monday 12th March 2018
- Nomination for Iris James Service Award if you would like to nominate anyone
from your club before 16th March 2018.
- AGM – Tuesday 27th March 2018 please send 1 or 2 Reps to this (Fixtures will be
given out on the night)
- Club Information Sheet by Monday 12th March 2018
- Uniform changes – must be submitted to sdna@sdna.com.au for approval.
- Club Request Form – Coaching and Playing clash requests must be completed by
Monday 12th March 2018.

Southern Districts Netball Association
General Information
1. Please read all this information carefully. If you have any further questions please
contact Nicole Prothero, Bev Gallager or Lesley Staines on 9451 3377.
2. Please direct all your members onto our website www.sdna.com.au for information
on all trial dates, umpiring information and development programs.
3. Coaching Accreditation – ALL Junior & NSG coaches who wish to coach at SDNA
MUST produce evidence of current coaching Netball Australia coaching accreditation
prior to the commencement of the winter season. Coaches who are unable to provide
this must complete the SDNA Beginner Coaching Course appropriate to the age level
they are coaching. This course is provided free of charge by the Association. Further
information will be provided by the ADO prior to the season commencing. Failure to
comply with this requirement means the coach may not coach at SDNA.
4. Registrations: must be completed on MyNetball by midnight Monday 12th March
2018 then email us your paperwork. Entity teams only (1 off team) must fill in the
Entity form in this package.
• Please complete all forms in full and correctly with at least seven (7) players.
• Forms filled in on MyNetball correctly as shown or an Entity team must fill in
attached Registration form.
• All coaches, managers, committee members and umpires must be registered on MyNetball
(free of charge) and have a member number.
• Payment to be made by Direct Deposit into our Bendigo Bank – Southern Districts Netball

5. AGM: Tuesday 27th March 2018 from 6.30pm sharp at SDNA
Please advise all clubs must be in attendance and Fixtures will be handed out on the
evening.
6. FEES – What do you receive from Southern Districts Netball Association?
• Participation in the winter competition.
• Voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.
• First Aid Treatment
• Strapping Facilities
• Notice of State Team Trials
• Notice of State League Trials
• Use of our Development office facilities / programs
• Assistance with trainings either for coaches, umpires or players
• Attend player development training sessions
• Join our umpiring squads
• Coaching for umpires
• Canteen & Ground facilities
• Social Events
7. Eligibility for playing divisions at SDNA
• Open: Minimum age turning 12 as at 31st December 2018.
• Junior: 10 years – 17 years as of the 31st December 2018.
• Categories for Juniors – 11/ under (will not participate in finals), 13/under,
15/under & 17/under
• NetSetGo NET Tier: 5 years to 6 years (SDNA TO RUN – Newcomers)
Participants for this must register to SDNA Net Program
Clubs to have these 2 Tiers available on MyNetball for Registrations.
• NetSetGo SET Tier: 7 years – 8 years
• NetSetGo GO Tier: 9 years to 10 years
8. Grading
All team lists must be filled in correctly with all details on the form. Please see
attached Registration form on the information we require.

9. Competitions
All divisions played at Southern Districts Netball on Saturday are one competition.
10. Timeslots
This will be decided after registration night and will depend upon numbers.
11. Umpiring Duties
Senior : Each team is required to supply one umpire each week at
opposite time slots.
Junior : Each team to umpire their own game each week.
NetSetGo SET & GO: Each team to umpire their own game each week.
Finals : SDNA to supply umpires.
12.Uniforms
All uniforms for new clubs in the winter season or clubs who wish to change their style
and colours must seek approval before purchase. Please check with our Uniform &
Property Co-ordinator –on 9451 3377 or email sdna@sdna.com.au
13.Courts for Training
Courts are available for training on week nights. Clubs wishing to train, please book
your courts with Lesley on 9451 3377 or email sdna@sdna.com.au

This approval should be sought prior to any order being placed with your manufacturer. This includes changes to style, pattern, colours and ratio of colours. Please be mindful that many manufacturers, retailers, and the SDNA office take an extended break over the Christmas/New Year period.
