The Black Alumni Society (BAS) is looking forward to our upcoming BAS Virtual Reunion. BAS is known to break barriers
when it comes to providing scholarship support to our scholars. The pandemic is challenging us to become creative as
we CONNECT • ENGAGE • INSPIRE with our scholars, alumni, friends, faculty and staff. The BAS Awards Virtual Gala will
honor the accomplishments of our alumni,faculty and staff. We are expecting over 2,000 alumni to virtually return to The
Hill for this joyous occasion. Sponsors are welcome to attend all of the CONNECT • ENGAGE • INSPIRE events. *

The BAS Scholarship program includes the Black Alumni Scholarship Challenge and Endowment accounts as well as several
named scholarship endowments. The BAS Reunion serves as one of the primary fundraising events for the BAS Scholarship
program. Since 1994, BAS has awarded over 312 scholarships totaling more than $420,000.
BAS Scholarships are available to both incoming freshmen and current University of Arkansas students who meet specific
criteria. BAS Scholarships recognize students who contribute to the diversity of the U of A campus. To learn more about the
